YEP IT'S ME

Well, I thought maybe it was time to make a real update since I haven't made one recently. Well, I went to the breast specialist. She was a very nice lady. She did an exam and then an ultrasound. She said there is a few small cysts in left breast, but there's a larger spot she is concerned with, so I am going to get an ultrasound guided biopsy on February 4th on that area. I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'll be so glad when all this testing is over and I can get some answers. The stress of worrying is really taking it's toll on me. It seems that lately all I want to do is sleep, and not be bothered by anyone or anything. The past 36 hours I slept alot, but I think I needed it. On weekdays I am up at 6am getting the girls up and ready for school. After school I sit with them to do their homework, then it's time to cook dinner, serve it. After dinner it's bath time, snack, teeth brushed, prayers and bedtime at 8pm. By that time I am drained. Emma and Dan are at a meeting to see the lawyer who is handling 3 of Dan's lawsuits from when he fell off the Borgada and was hurt. We're hoping it's some good news. As soon as one of those lawsuits settles we can all move. We are hoping we can before summer comes along. I have the 2 young ones down for a nap. The older 2 are downstairs watching tv and playing with their toys. I hope it stays quiet until I finish this entry. Have any of you watched the new series The Beast starring Patrick Swayze? It's on channel A&E. Have you noticed how thin he is? I think his cancer and treatments took alot out of him. But he still can act in my book. I love all his movies, but my favorites are Road House and Dirty Dancing, and now this series The Beast. I just can't get enough of his movies. Or enough of him, lol. He is so sexy in my book. I've been searching for Road House and Dirty Dancing on DVD and I haven't been able to find them, but I will one day. Well, Emma and Dan are back. Dan said there's a good chance they could settle in early summer. If not they'll go to court in early Fall. I pray it's summer.
I'm waiting for Jim to get home from work. We're going to BJ's to open a membership and do some shopping. I have never been there before and have always wanted too. My diet is going well. I have lost 25 pounds now, woooohoooo. It's a struggle but I am sticking to it. Maybe my next posting will be my diet plan and menu I follow each week. Well, I guess I will go for now. Take care everyone and have a good weekend.

TOO FUNNY

Kurtis & Brenda

In a supermarket, Kurtis the stock boy, was busily working when a newvoice came over the loud speaker asking for a carry out at register 4. Kurtiswas almost finished, and wanted to get some fresh air, and decided to answerthe call. As he approached the check-out stand a distant smile caught his eye,the new check-out girl was beautiful. She was an older woman (maybe 26, and hewas only 22) and he fell in love. Later that day, after his shift was over, he waited by the punch clock to findout her name. She came into the break room, smiled softly at him, took her card and punched out, then left. He looked at her card, BRENDA. He walked out onlyto see her start walking up the road.Next day, he waited outside as she left the supermarket, and offered her a ridehome. He looked harmless enough, and she accepted. When he dropped her off, heasked if maybe he could see her again, outside of work. She simply said itwasn't possible. He pressed and she explained she had two children and she couldn'tafford a baby-sitter, so he offered to pay for the baby-sitter. Reluctantly sheaccepted his offer for a date for the following Saturday. That Saturday nighthe arrived at her door only to have her tell him that she was unable to go withhim. The baby-sitter had called and canceled. To which Kurtis simply said,"Well, let's take the kids with us." She tried to explain that taking thechildren was not an option, but again not taking no for an answer, hepressed. Finally Brenda, brought him inside to meet her children. She had anolder daughter who was just as cute as a bug, Kurtis thought, then Brendabrought out her son, in a wheelchair. He was born a paraplegic with DownSyndrome. Kurtis asked Brenda, "I still don't understand why the kids can't comewith us?" Brenda was amazed. Most men would run away from a woman with two kids, especially if one had disabilities - just like her first husband and father of her children had done.Kurtis was not ordinary - - - he had a different mind set. That evening Kurtisand Brenda loaded up the kids, went to dinner and the movies. When her sonneeded anything Kurtis would take care of him. When he needed to use therestroom, he picked him up out of his wheelchair, took him and brought him back. The kids loved Kurtis. At the end of the evening, Brenda knew this was the manshe was going to marry and spend the rest of her life with. A year later, theywere married and Kurtis adopted both of her children. Since then they have addedtwo more kids. So what happened to Kurtis the stock boy and Brenda thecheck-out girl? Well, Mr. & Mrs. Kurt Warner now live in Arizona , where he iscurrently employed as the quarterback of the National Football League ArizonaCardinals and has his Cardinals in the hunt for a possible appearance in theSuper Bowl. Is this a surprise ending or could you have guessed that he was not anordinary person. It should be noted that he also quarterback'd the Rams inSuper Bowl XXXVI. He has also been the NLF's Most Valuable Player twice and theSuper Bowl's Most Valuable Player. Larry Stewart

UT OH HUBBY IN TROUBLE

My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels. She asked, 'What's on TV?'I said, 'Dust.'And then the fight started... ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ------A woman is standing nude, looking in the bedroom mirror. She is not happy with what she s ees and says to her husband,'I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly.I really need you to pay me a compliment.'The husband replies, 'Your eyesight's just about perfect.'And then the fight started.....------------ --------- --------- ------I tried to talk my wife into buying a case of Miller Light for $14.95.Instead, she bought a jar of cold cream for $7.95.I told her the beer would make her look better at night than the cold cream. And then the fight started....------------ --------- --------- --------- -----My wife asked me if a certain dress made her behind look big. I told her not as much as the dress she wore yesterdayand then the fight s tarted.....------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- ----I asked my wife, "Where do you want to go for our anniversary? "It warmed my heart to see her face melt in sweet appreciation. "Somewhere I haven't been in a long time!" she said.So I suggested, "How about the kitchen?"And that's when the fight started....------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- ----My wife and I are watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, "Do you want to have sex?""No," she answered.I then said, "Is that your final answer?"She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying "Yes."So I said, "Then I 'd like to phone a friend."And that's when the fight started....

I Love this.....

On the first day of school a first grade teacher explains to her classthat she is a Cow boys fan.She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too , are Cowboysfans.Wanting to impress their teacher, everyone in the class raises theirhand except one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise, 'Janie, why didn't youraise your hand?' 'Because I'm not a Cowboys fan,' she replied. The teacher, still shocked, asked, 'Well, if you are not a Cowboys fan, then wh o are you a fan of?''I am an Eagles fan, and proud of it,' Janie replied. The teacher could not believe her ears. 'Janie, please tell me why youare you an Eagles fan?''Because my mom is an Eagles fan, and my dad is an Eagles fan, so I'm anEagles fan too!''Well,' said the teacher in a obviously annoyed tone, 'that is no reasonfor you to be an Eagles fan. You don't have to be just like your parentsall of the time. What if your mom were an idiot and your dad were amoron, what would you be then?''Then,' Janie smiled, 'I'd be a Cowboys fan.'------------------------------ -----------------------Four football fans - a Cowboys fan, an Eagles fan, a Redskins fan, and aGiants fan - are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves histeam more. The Redskins fan insists he is the most loyal. 'This is for theRedskins!' he yells, and jumps off the side of the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Giants fan shouts, 'This is for the Giants!' andthrows himself off the mountain. The Eagles fan is next to profess his love for his team.He yells, 'This is for everyone!' and pushes the Cowboys fan off themountain.----------------------------- ------------------------------ ----------A Eagles fan liked to amuse himself by scaring every Cowboys fan he sawstrutting down the street in an obnoxious Blue & White shirt. Hewould swerve his van as if to hit them, then swerve back just missingthem. One day while driving along, he saw a priest. He thought he would do agood deed, so he pulled over and asked the priest, 'Where are you going,Father?''I'm going to give Mass at St. Francis church, about two milesdown the road,' replied the priest.'Climb in, Father. I'll give you a lift!' The priest climbed into the passenger seat, and they continued down the road.Suddenly, the driver saw a Cowboys fan walking down the road, and heinstinctively swerved as if to hit him. But, as usual, he swerved backonto the road just in time.Even though he was certain that he had missed the guy, he still heard aloud THUD. Not knowing where the noise came from, he g lanced in hismirrors but still didn't see anything. He then rememb ered the priest, and he turned to the priest and said, sorry Father, I just missed hitting that Cowboys fan.''That's OK,' replied the priest 'I got him with the door.'

Dan

Dan was given an EKG and 4 baby aspirin and sent home at 5am with his chest still feeling tight and his left arm numb. They told him to follow up with his primary doctor. I really hate this hospital he went too. Most of their patients are on drugs. Dan is in sleeping right now, which is the best thing he can do now. I have had 3 hours sleep and I am going to go take a nap. Thank you for all your prayers.

Love ya all............. Cindy xoxo

Will it ever end?

Always something going on around here that involves a doctor or trip to the hospital. My SIL was at a midnight AA meeting. He's been sober now for 7 years. He started having severe chest pains and couldn't breathe. One of his friends there took him out to the car and drove him to the hospital, then came and got Emma. He had Dan's car. Dan hasn't looked well all day today. Very quiet, tired, hardly eatting at all. The chest pains were so bad, he knew he couldn't drive home to get Emma. So, here I sit at the computer and Adrianna is in her pack n play sleeping next to me. I will be up until One or both of them returns home.
My results are back from the second mammogram and ultrasound. There is a spot the size of a dime. It can't be determined if it is cancer or not. They know it is not a cyst. So on Jan 21 I go into the hospital, so they can remove a piece or even the whole spot, so it can be tested to see if it is cancer. I am a nervous wreck over this. I have been doing alot of praying a whole lot of praying over this. So many thoughts are rushing through my head. Will I lose my entire breast? Will I die of breast cancer? How will my family cope with this? Will I go on getting chemo again, and being sick and dependant on my family again, when it's me who is to care for them? Then there's the big question, WHY ME? I cry then pray, cry again and pray again. I hope GOD hears my prayers. I want to be around and watch my Rebecca grow up, and to watch my grandbabies grow up too. I want to be around for my oldest child Emma and for my husband. Jim just came upstairs, I told him about Dan so he's worried. Emma called, they are putting Dan in a room and hooking him up to all the necessary machines. She said she asked him if he knew who she was and he shook his head no. He talks but his words make no sense. To me it sounds as if he had a stroke. I hope not. Please say a prayer for him and for me too. Jim said he noticed Dan didn't seem right tonight. He said he was slow acting.
Well, our weather here in PA was awful for a couple days, snow and freezing rain. Today it was partly sunny and in the 20's. Gas here in Philadelphia has gone up a few cents, but it's still 1.39 across the bridge in New Jersey. So I go there to get mine. Only cost me 25.00 the other day to fill my tank and I have a big tank in my van. This friday will be 2 weeks since I filled it and I still have 3/4 of a tank. I'll top it off again this friday. Well, I guess that is about it for now. I will come back here and update you on Dan when I know something.

BLUE FRIDAYS

Blue Fridays. Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing blue every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the 'silent majority' We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing. Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -- and continues each and every Friday until the tr oops all come home, sending a deafening message that ... every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar, will wear something blue. By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of blue much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in BLUE and it will let our troops know the once 'silent' majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on. The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make things better for you?' is ..'We need your support and your prayers.' Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something blue every Friday. IF YOU AGREE -- THEN SEND THIS ON. IF YOU COULDN'T CARE LESS -- THEN HIT THE DELETE BUTTON. IT IS YOUR CHOICE. WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE

IDIOTS

IDIOT SIGHTING :We had to have the garage door repaired. The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a "large" enough motor on the opener. I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower. He shook his head and said, "Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower." I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4. He said, "NO, it's not." Four is larger than two.." We haven't used Sears repair since. IDIOT SIGHTING My daughter and I went through the McDonald's take-out window and I gave the clerk a $5 bill. Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a quarter. She said, "you gave me too much money." I said, "Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar bill back." She sighed and went to get the manager who asked me to repeat my request. I did so, and he handed me back the quarter, and said "We're sorry but they could not do that kind of thing." The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75 cents in change. Do not confuse the clerks at McD's. IDIOT SIGHTING :I live in a semi rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road. The reason: "Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore." >From Kingman , KS IDIOT SIGHTING IN FOOD SERVICE:My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco. She asked the person behind the counter for "minimal lettuce." He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg lettuce. From Kansas City IDIOT SIGHTING :I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked, "Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?" To which I replied, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?" He smiled knowingly and nodded, "That's why we ask."Happened in Birmingham , Ala. IDIOT SIGHTING:The stoplight on the corner buzzes when it's safe to cross the street. I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for. I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red. Appalled, she responded, "What on earth are blind people doing driving?!" She was a probation officer in Wichita , KS IDIOT SIGHTING:At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker. She was leaving the company due to "downsizing." Our manager commented cheerfully, "This is fun. We should do this more often." Not another word was spoken. We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare. This was a lunch at Texas Instruments. IDIOT SIGHTING:I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself and for the sake of her life, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on. A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriffs office, no less. IDIOT SIGHTING :When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the drivers side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. "Hey," I announced to the technician, "its open!" His reply, "I know. I already got that side." This was at the Ford dealership in Canton , Mississippi STAY ALERT! They walk among us... and the scary part is that they VOTE and they REPRODUCE !

Who gets custody

Texas Judge gives 7 year old right to decide custody. Dallas, TX, December 31, 2008 A seven year old bo y was at the center of a county courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy had a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life am ong them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Dallas Cowboys, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone. Happy New Year!

Thank you Poppop Bill for this.

Pics and Thank you's

Let me start by telling you about the pictures. The first one is my daughter Emma, who fell asleep at the kitchen table and used potholders on the wall as a pillow, lol. She would kill me if she knew I posted it, but hey she knows her momma and I do it anyways, lol. Next is my hubby holding Adrianna. He is the only one who can hold her cradled like that without her squirming to sit up. Next pic, there's Adrianna letting it be known she wants her bottle and a nap. lol The next 6 are of christmas morning. Happy children they were for sure. Adrianna again, playing shy. She see's me coming with the camera and right away closes her eyes, lil stinker. The last pic was sent to my cellphone tonight. This pic I will hold dear to my heart. Some of you may remember me writing about my 18yr old niece Sandy, who died just 12 days after giving birth to her son Christopher. Well, that precious lil boy is him. He is 5yrs old now and so handsome. He looks just like his mommy. My niece Sharon was at grocery store and seen him there with his paternal grandparents and she took a pic with her cellphone and sent it to mine. I saw his precious face and right away knew who it was and I cried. I just wanna hold him and give him lots of hugs and kisses. He holds a special place in my heart. I am hoping to go to virginia this spring and visit with him and maybe take him out to lunch. Or to the toy store, lol. I know his mommy is looking down at him all the time and smiling at her precious baby boy.

Now I know there is more, but I can't find them, but here is some of the thank you's I wanna shout out to you all for the wonderful christmas cards we received from you.

Kath and Idris, Nelishia,Dirk and Katie, Lisa (seraphoflove9001) Sharon (coastal comfort) Jeannette and Mike, LisaJo, Jeanie and Bryan, Sybil, Nancy, Missie, Chrissie, Lyn, Lisa, and to everyone who sent ecards.
Last night I thought I lost this entry when I hit the mouse and it had moved, but I found it tonight, thank goodness. My doctor called me this morning with results of my bloodwork from yesterday. My sugar is again high, 140 he says, next time I get bloodwork done if sugar is still high we will discuss medication for it. My bad cholesterol has gone down some which is great, only thing is so has my good cholesterol, it's 32 and it should be 50 or more. So he put me on something called Niasapan. It's suppose to raise the good cholesterol level, and help avoid heart disease. With my heart not beating right, he isn't taking any chances. So today I made a decision. I am going to get my health back and diet and excercise. I started a diet today and I am going to stick to it. The doctor said I can help in avoiding diabetes by losing weight, so diet it is for me. Wish me luck, I will need it for sure. Well, I guess I will go now before I lose this entry again. I was so mad last night when I thought I lost it. Take care all and have a wonderful week.

Pics and more

Well, I hope this works and the pictures stay. The first picture is of my granddaughter Adrianna doing what she loves to do most, and that is playing on the floor with her toys. Loves playing, especially with the toys with flashing lights and sounds. The next one is my granddaughter Marissa showing off the new shirt I bought her. She loves it and has even tried to wear it to bed, lol. Then there's my daughter Rebecca who also loves her shirt, but of course wanted a different color then Marissa's. Next, my grandson Daniel. He is going to be 4yrs old in a few month's. My lil man is growing up fast. his morning he gave me my slippers and said, "Here you go darlin, I brought you your slippers mommom" lol he is just too much. Now here's the 3 of them together. There 3 of the reasons I get up in the morning. Next we have just the girls. They are growing up so fast. Tomorrow they go back to school. Winter recess is over, thank goodness, lol. Daniel will resume his homeschooling with me. He can now spell his name and almost able to write it. He writes niel instead of daniel, lol. The next 2 pics are of my sister Lucy's new truck. She has full coverage on it and still owes 2000.00 on the truck. Her daughter Sharon's boyfriend borrowed it to go to the store. He was going a lil faster then he should of been, the actual speed limit is 55mph on the road he was doing about 60 and a deer ran out in front of him. He swerved to avoid hitting the deer, lost control of the truck, slammed into a tree and the truck flipped and rolled at least 3 times. Look at the drivers side carefully. Do you see the roof smashed down? If he was wearing a seatbelt he would of been crushed. The airbag worked in stopping him by being thrown through the windshield and by not having his seatbelt on he was shifted to passenger side where he avoided being crushed. He came out of it scratched and bruised. He definately had an angel watching over him. He is so upset Lucys truck is ruined, but Lucy told him the truck doesn't matter. What matters is he is alive to support his 3 kids with Sharon. They are lil ricky, jackie and heidi. The next pic is my brother paul sitting in a giant chair at his work, or is it a regular chair and he shrunk, lol. I want that chair, lol. The last pic is of the leaf truck. It goes around picking up the bags of leaves you put out. Isn't it cool? The artist did a great job designing the pictures. Well tomorrow I go see my primary care doctor. He'll be taking more blood to check my cholesterol level and sugar level. On the 8th I go have another mammogram and an ultrasound done of my left breast. I am a nervous wreck. I pray it doesn't turn out to be cancer. I also have to make my hubby Jim a doctor's appt. He has me a lil worried. He has lost alot of weight, atleast 30lbs over the past 6 mos. And lately he's been complaining of his shoulder and left elbow hurting. He'll be 54yrs old come June, so he's probably due for a complete work up and physical. His brother is 51 and is already on ssi for crippling arthritis. Well, I have christmas pics to download. I will do that tomorrow, and add them to an entry along with the christmas cards. I am sorry I am so late in posting, but having the kids home all day the past couple weeks I haven't had much time for the computer. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed your holidays, and I wish each and everyone of you a wonderful blessed new year. It is late and I have to get up at 6am to et the girls dressed and fed for school.
