I USED AOL THIS MORNING TO ADD PICTURES. BEINGS THERE IS 14 OF THEM, TOO MANY TO ADD SEPARATE. I TOLD YOU ALL MY KID CAN TRASH A HOUSE. I CALL HER THE QUICKER MESSER UPPER , LOL. WE HAD ABOUT A HALF INCH OF SNOW LAST NIGHT. WORKS FOR ME. I'D RATHER IT BE A HALF INCH THEN ANYTHING MORE THAN THAT. JIM TOOK THE VAN AGAIN TODAY. IT IS JUST TOO COLD FOR HIM TO WALK. PACKED HIM ANOTHER LUNCH, OF ROAST TURKEY SANDWICHES, BANANA, AND COOKIES, PLUS A THERMOS OF HOT TEA. HE'S A HAPPY MAN, LOL. HE SAID HE CAN WALK THE 3 BLOCKS TO WORK, AND LEAVE ME THE VAN, BUT I AM NOT GOING OUT TODAY, SO TOLD HIM TO TAKE IT. REBECCA CAUGHT THAT COLD. LAST NIGHT I NOTICED SHE WAS SNEEZING EVEN MORE AND MAKING SNIFFING SOUNDS WITH HER NOSE. I LOOKED OVER AT HER AND HER CHEEKS WERE ALL RED. TOOK HER TEMPERATURE, 100.3. OUT OF THE MEDICINE CABINET CAME THE CHILDRENS TYLENOL COLD REMEDY. A DOSE OF THAT, PUT HER IN WARM FOOTSIE JAMMIES, AND TUCKED HER INTO BED FOR THE NIGHT. HER BOTTOM LIP IS ALL CHAPPED AND SORE, AND IT GOING INTO THE UPPER CHIN AREA. SHE WON'T LET ME PUT ANYTHING ON IT. SHE'S AFRAID IT WILL BURN OR STING. WELL, WE NEVER GOT TO OUR PAINTING YESTERDAY. CLEANING UP ALL HER MESS TOTALLY WORE ME OUT. TODAY ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DO UP DINNER DISHES FROM LAST NIGHT, WHICH I WAS TOO TIRED TO DO AFTER DINNER. THEN WE'LL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO PAINT. AND YES I WILL TAKE A PIC OF ALL HER PAINTINGS AND POST IT.
ALSO I AM GOING TO GET OUT MY SUGAR FREE COOKBOOK TODAY, AND POST SOME RECIPES IN MY DIET JOURNAL. I AM DOING GREAT WITH THAT SPLENDA. I LOVE THAT STUFF. I SPRINKLE A LITTLE ON MY GRAPEFRUIT IN THE MORNING AND MMMMM IT IS GOOD. ALSO USE IT IN MY HOT TEA. I DRINK LIKE 2 TO 3 CUPS OF HOT TEA A NIGHT USING 3 TEASPOONS OF SUGAR IN EACH CUP. YEP ME BAD FOR THAT, CAUSE IT IS ALOT OF CALORIES. BUT NO MORE DO I DO THAT. ONE PACKET OF SPLENDA IS ALL I NEED NOW, AND NO CALORIES, YEAAAAAAAAA!! WELL, JIM WANTS PORKCHOPS FOR DINNER TONIGHT. SO I THINK I WILL BROIL THEM, AND MAKE A BIG SALAD AND ASPARAGUS. I'LL BAKE HIM A POTATO, I WON'T HAVE ONE. REBECCA AND I WILL BE HAVING TUNA SALAD FOR LUNCH. HER'S ON TOAST, MINE ON WHEAT CRACKERS, CAUSE I AM OUT OF MY WHEAT BREAD, LOL. WELL, I'D BETTER GO NOW. I WANNA GET AN EARLY START ON THAT KITCHEN, SO REBECCA AND I CAN GET TO PAINTING. KEEP WARM, BUNDLE UP IF YOU GO OUTSIDE, AND PLEASE BE CAREFUL DRIVING.
HERE'S A HELPFUL TIP FOR YOU IF YOU GO OUT WALKING OR JUST WALKING TO CAR. TO AVOID SLIPPING ON SIDEWALKS OR DRIVEWAYS WHERE IT IS ICED OVER, PUT A PAIR OF OLD SOCKS OVER YOUR SHOES. THIS HELPS TO NOT SLIP ON THAT ICE. I HAVE TRIED THIS AND IT DOES WORK.
LOVE YOU ALL,
Great photos...and lots of cleaning up to do at your place...same here...that's kids for ya. I loved the saying on that pillow!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea on the socks for nonskid...cool.
Have a great day...hugs,
Joyce
I hope you had her help you clean up her mess. She needs to be taught not to make such a mess, or she will have to clean it up. This is not a diss on your mothering skills, so please don't take it that way. Just some advice. My son is 16 and I didn't in still that in him at an early age and now it is hard for me to get him to clean his room, or do anything around here. My big mistake!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
God Bless,
Liz in Va.

Yep, she can kill a room, so image what my 3 can do to the house. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA
ReplyDeleteI love splenda! I wish I had sent you some Shea Butter or Fragrance Free balm or lip stuff. It's the fragrance/flavor oils that STING, and just beinng so dried out. If you have petroleum jelly, put a THIN amount on, it will make a barrier at least. Tell her if it gets worse it will spread and hurt far more. You tell her Godmother Rupunzel said. LMAO
Love ya
Ang
THANKS FOR THE SOCK TIP!!!
ReplyDeleteHOPE REBECCA IS FEELING BETTER BY NOW...TRY VASELINE ON HER LIP...IT WON'T BURN AND IT WILL KEEP IT DRY...SO IT WILL HEAL..
LOVE YA,
CARLENE
Well you made short work of what you had to do. I can't keep up with the messes my granddaughters make some times. LOL Hope it's warming up there. We warmed up but only temporarily I think.

If we got our two girls together, we'd be cleaning for a week !! My Gia gets chapped lips like that !!! Hope she's feeling better!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Ellen
Cindy,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear Rebecca has a cold.
My son still gets the chapped lips and doesn't want anything for it.
When he was younger they would crack at the sides...spring and summer always cure that.
Can't wait.
Have a good night.

Humm did't know that trick about the socks. I love tuna on crackers. Kyan and I eat crackers and cheese all the time. Stay warm.
