Hello my friends. Just thought I'd pop in for a while and see how all are doing. I am ok, just tired. Emma and Dan got home around 2:am. They were laughing and smiling and said they had a really nice evening out together. I am so glad, they needed it. They went to dinner and to a movie. It was still early so they decided to go to a meeting. Meeting being an AA meeting. They've both been clean and sober for many years now and I am very proud of them. But it was so funny, they had a chance to go out and do anything they wanted and they didn't know what else to do, so a meeting they went too, lol. I went to bed around 2:30 and was back up at 6:am. Had me a cup of coffee, checked some email and went back to bed at 7:am. Jim woke me up at 10:45 for coffee. At 1:30 Jim and Dan are taking Rebecca, Marissa and Daniel to the movies. I think their going to see something called Egor or Eyore, something like that. That will leave just Emma and I and the baby home, wooooohoooooooo. I think I will give myself a pedicure and paint my toe nails. Something I haven't done in a while. Then I'm gonna wash the linens off the beds, lol. Jim has off work today. There wasn't enough jobs scheduled for everyone, so 2 guys were told to stay home today. But Jim has to work saturday, so that will make up for today.
Jim's Dad is home from the hospital. He is weak and has to walk with a walker, but he's eatting now. He can't walk up or down steps yet. A physical therapist comes to the house a few times a week to excercise his legs with him. He said to give him 2 weeks to gain his strength back and then we can bring all the kids to see him and he'll be strong enough to hold the baby. You can't bring a baby into the house without Jim's Dad holding it. He says baby's are good medicine.
Jim finally got his tool box and rifle from Joe's. They got it sunday. Jim kept the top part of the toolbox and gave Dan's brother Michael the bottom part. He loves it. He'll be locking all his tools up from now on. Joe said hi to Jim but that was about it. Well, I guess that is about it for now. I'm going to go get dressed, fix myself something to eat and do up their breakfast dishes. Then I will work on this Blog thing. I might be shouting out for some help to you all, lol. So enjoy your day, keep well and I'll see ya again soon.
LOVE TO ALL........................CINDY
Thank you Sugar for the Hi tag above.

ReplyDeleteHi Cindy
ReplyDeletesounds like you will all have a nice quiet time with the kids and men at the movies. IF you need any help setting up a new blog (if you go to blogger) let me know.
Christy
Blogger is not that hard just have to learn where everything is. You'll get it just fine.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you decided to continue on the journey with us all. So many have decided to call it quits.
Glad that Emma and Dan had a great time out as a young married couple you need to do that every once in awhile. Heck the olds ones do too.
I'm with Jim's Dad babies are GREAT medicine. IF we could bottle that up it would cure everything.
Glad Jim got his stuff and there weren't any problems.
Take care and Hugs, Chrissie

ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry I haven't written in a long time.
To put it mildly I have been in a major funk.
I think you understand what I mean with the death of your sister, I am struggling over the death of my niece, it was so sudden. Many days I feel like doing NOTHING.
I read your poem and thought that it was beautiful! You have a talent.
I am sorry to hear about the J-land journals, if you continue, will you please send me contact
info?
Also sorry to hear what went down with crazy Joe and all, what a deal.
Sounds like Rebecca is doing great in school. At least you are out of the neighborhood that you hated.
Take care.
love,
Donna
Please, while there is time left...will you post your new journal url???
