Yesterday I got a call on my cellphone from my nephew Eddie. (Oldest child of my sister Lucy) He tells me he and Chrissy (his girlfriend) are at the hospital. They are inducing her labor because they don't like sound of baby's heart beat. (Chrissy was over due) Eddie asks me all kinds of questions. I finally tell him, if the baby's heart rate drops anymore, they will most likely give Chrissy a c-section. So we hang up. Twenty minutes later he calls. Chrissy is being prepped and given a spinal for a c-section. The baby's heart rate dropped more. About 45 minutes later, I get a call. The baby is born and Chrissy is doing fine. So, I want to welcome little Eden James Williams who came into this world around 2:pm March 27, 2007 weighing in at 5 pounds 15 ounces, with a cute lil button nose and red hair. I will get a pic of him as soon as I can to share with you. And congratulations go out to my sister Lucy. Go, Grandma, how many is this now? Oh yea, it's her 7th grandchild, and she has 2 more on the way. Her daughter's Sharon and Donna are both expecting.
My sister Lucy told me the funniest story last night. She was at work yesterday waiting for her co-worker Coriena to come into work. Coriena all of a sudden comes flying into parking lot, runs in store and clocks in. Tells Lucy she seen District Manager on highway, and she'll be here any minute. So, she floored her car doing 65 past boss so she'd get to work before 12 noon to clock in on time. Boss gets there, has Coriena unload boxes from her car for the store. Boss is talking with Lucy just as Coriena was entering into store with boxes. Lucy says, Man I'm hungry, maybe I should go get a HotDog. Boss says, why don't you send Ole Leadfoot over there, she'll bring it back still hot. And they all cracked up laughing, cause boss lady knew who it was that flew by her on road, lol. I laughed so hard, my ribs hurt. It was so funny the way Lucy told me the story.
OK, Did everyone get outside in that nice weather yesterday? It was 82 degree's here in Philadelphia, Pa. And a very blue sky and lots of sunshine. I totally enjoyed it. The kids played outside, but first Uncle Bill (Dans brother) built a home made gate to keep the kids in yard. Landlord is puting a gate in, but hasn't yet, so here's what Bill put up, lol.
Please ignore the red tree shaped air freshener in my van. Uncle Joe put it in there, lol. Is this funny looking or what? And Bill was proud of himself for building this too. But I got to admit, it did keep the kids in the yard, lol. Marissa and Rebecca played outdoors all day. They wouldn't even come inside to eat lunch. So, Uncle Bill carried the table and chair set from Marissa's room outside and the girls ate lunch at the lil table set. They played with the Sit-n-Spin's, they took turns blowing bubbles, they had a great time. Daniel was indoors. Emma didn't want him to go out cause she had just given him a bath. But here he is looking out the window at the girls and me when I was taking his picture from outside, lol.
Here's Marissa taking a turn blowing bubbles, and Rebecca is chasing the bubbles. I heard them ask Uncle Bill the most funniest question. They said, Uncle Bill, when the bubbles fly away do you think they go all the way to China? He said, I bet they do, but it takes a really big bubble to make it all the way to china. Well, those girls tried their best to blow giant bubbles that would reach china. Bill and I cracked up, it was so funny watching them.
I caught Marissa trying to hide the bubble bottle. The little sneak. She wanted to keep them, lol.
Rebecca looked sad. She wanted a turn blowing the bubbles. Uncle Bill had to chase after Marissa. She was running in yard saying, Nooooooooo, I wanna have more turns, lol. Mommom can buy Becca more bubbles. Darn kids think we're made of money.
Wow, look at my child's legs. That is not fat, I checked. It is solid muscle. And she gets it from all the running she does when we're trying to catch her, lol. Man, this kid can run.
Well, that's all for now. Who know's what today will give me to write about. I hope you all enjoy your day. I'm going to call our dear Sugar tomorrow. If anyone has a message for her let me know and I will write them all down and tell her when I call her.
LOVE TO ALL........................
i love to blow bubbles.....sometimes i do it when i am alone and out in the backyard. I love your pics. I am dying over here at that "modified" door stop. If you knew Rick, you would understand why i am cracking up. My husband modifies everything. He thinks he can build anything better than an expert and has redone thousands of things. Contraptions, i tell ya. That sled thing is something he would do. It will be 67 here today.

Catching up here. Cute pictures!! Congrats to Lucy on the new grandbabe. But, I'm so sorry about her house if this is the same one. How terrible! My friend had her house burn down and the insurance replaced everything she owned. I don't know how it works if you rent though. I hope it's all ok. Sorry she lost her dogs. What a nightmare.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you......Pam
