I've been having so many problems getting pics in an entry, hopefully they stay this time, grrrrrrrrr. Well, I have been trying to get to all your journals. I wish there was more hours in the day. The week so far has been fun. Last saturday we took Rebecca, Marissa and Daniel to that park that looks like a castle. They loved it. We were there almost 3 1/2 hours. Then on sunday Jim, Rebecca and Joe went up to the cabin. Yesssssssss, I had some alone time. Then monday came along and it was back to school. UGH!!!!!!!! Spring break just went too fast. The school has been so out of control lately. I found out a couple days ago a 12yr old girl in the school was raped in the gym and now she is pregnant. Fights all week long in the higher grade classes, riots after school in the streets blocking traffic. The police have to patrol a 4 block radius around the school now due to all the fighting. And Rebecca's teacher said it will get worse as the weather gets warmer. This is definately Rebecca's first and last year in this school.
Marissa is doing so well in her homeschooling. I now have her at the same level as Rebecca's class. She will be ready for first grade come September.
Did you see the picture of Adrianna's bad hair day? Well, her hair grows so fast only in those 3 spots, behind each ear and on top of her head, lol. When she's nursing or drinking a bottle she likes to play with the sides of her hair.
It's raining here now. Suppose to last through the weekend. I'm not complaining though. I'd rather it rain then snow. I'll be glad when it's warm enough and I can open my windows.
I am so glad tomorrow is friday. I am tired. 5 days a week with 27 kids is alot to handle. Plus all the driving I do, back and forth to Emma's everyday, homeschooling Marissa, going to school with Rebecca, cleaning the classroom after school, running my errands, then coming home helping Rebecca with her homework and her 100 book challenge. So far she has read 64 out of 100 books for homework. When she reaches 100 she will get a certificate for a free personal pan pizza and a soda at Pizza Hut.
Well the 11 o'clock news is on and I want to watch it. I never get to watch it unless I get up an hour before everyone in the morning. I hope everyone is doing well and you have a great weekend.
LOVE TO ALL..........................CINDY

Cindy, as always loved the pictures !!!!!! Happy Friday, Love You Lisa XO
ReplyDeleteI adored those pictures. It was fun to see all of you. I loved Adrianna's hair. Adorable. Sounds like you stay very busy. I don't know how you do it. I just have one, and I stay exhausted all the time. Her school system sounds so awful and that is horrible for that little girl. They will probably have to give her a C Section too. Surgery on top of everything else. Just too horrible for her to endure.
ReplyDeleteLove you guys,

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the pictures and the baby's hair is HYSTERICAL!!!
ReplyDeleteThat school sounds really scary. Are you planning to homeschool both girls next year? Did you see the news? I didn't get to watch it but Channel 6 was at this ground breaking ceremony for Sahara Sam's waterpark yesterday and Kelly and the HS Jazz Band played at the event. I had wanted to see if they were on TV but I fell asleep. The place is RIGHT DOWN THE BLOCK FROM MY HOUSE and is supposed to be AWESOME when it's done in Feb 2009. You will HAVE to bring the kids! Check out this link: http://www.saharasams.com/
Hope you have a great weekend.. Get some rest!
((hugs))

Loved the pics of your family, that school sure does sound scarey. Good thing you are there with Rebecca. It is rainy and gloomy here today. Hope you have a nice week end.
ReplyDeleteMichelle
You have been busy. Nicci and Brandon used to do that book challenge when they were in elementary school. They loved pizza from pizza hut so it was a win, win situation. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteMissie
Glad you are well... I can't wait until you are away from that school! Scary stuff!

i really liked seeing the kids.....all of them are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow a mess it sounds like at the school, i know how much that worries you. :(
XO lj
The pictures are so precious. Memories in progress! I know you'll be glad to get Rebecca out of that school. That's one of the worst I've ever heard. Sounds like the National Guard would be quite a help there. Such a shame. School should be the one of the best times of a young person's life, and instead those kids have to go to school in fear, be afraid to use the restroom, mercy.
ReplyDeleteDirk
What a scary school for those children!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are great, the baby is getting so big.
Can you still get into my journal? You havent visited in a long time : (
hugs,
Ellen
it's just not safe ANYWHERE for kids anymore, and that's very sad....ANYHOW,the pics were wonderful ;ummmm but tell JIMMY to suck it in and toughen up lol hee hee heee ho ho he's goin to hate me
ReplyDeleteThe photos are great Cindy and its nice that you have had some time to watch them all playing. I can't believe how quickly those children are growing and Adriana is too sweet. Its terrible about the school and thank goodness you are planning to get Rebecca out of there. I feel so sad for all the children stuck there, what will become of them all. Hugs, Tells x
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures. I know what you mean about the grandkids being the loves of your life, I feel that way about mine too.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sad, that Rebecca's school is so violent. Terrible about the 12 year old girl, Poor kid. I am glad Rebecca won't be going back.
I hope your week is a good one.
Barbara
