Well, I thought maybe it was time to make a real update since I haven't made one recently. Well, I went to the breast specialist. She was a very nice lady. She did an exam and then an ultrasound. She said there is a few small cysts in left breast, but there's a larger spot she is concerned with, so I am going to get an ultrasound guided biopsy on February 4th on that area. I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'll be so glad when all this testing is over and I can get some answers. The stress of worrying is really taking it's toll on me. It seems that lately all I want to do is sleep, and not be bothered by anyone or anything. The past 36 hours I slept alot, but I think I needed it. On weekdays I am up at 6am getting the girls up and ready for school. After school I sit with them to do their homework, then it's time to cook dinner, serve it. After dinner it's bath time, snack, teeth brushed, prayers and bedtime at 8pm. By that time I am drained. Emma and Dan are at a meeting to see the lawyer who is handling 3 of Dan's lawsuits from when he fell off the Borgada and was hurt. We're hoping it's some good news. As soon as one of those lawsuits settles we can all move. We are hoping we can before summer comes along. I have the 2 young ones down for a nap. The older 2 are downstairs watching tv and playing with their toys. I hope it stays quiet until I finish this entry. Have any of you watched the new series The Beast starring Patrick Swayze? It's on channel A&E. Have you noticed how thin he is? I think his cancer and treatments took alot out of him. But he still can act in my book. I love all his movies, but my favorites are Road House and Dirty Dancing, and now this series The Beast. I just can't get enough of his movies. Or enough of him, lol. He is so sexy in my book. I've been searching for Road House and Dirty Dancing on DVD and I haven't been able to find them, but I will one day. Well, Emma and Dan are back. Dan said there's a good chance they could settle in early summer. If not they'll go to court in early Fall. I pray it's summer.
I'm waiting for Jim to get home from work. We're going to BJ's to open a membership and do some shopping. I have never been there before and have always wanted too. My diet is going well. I have lost 25 pounds now, woooohoooo. It's a struggle but I am sticking to it. Maybe my next posting will be my diet plan and menu I follow each week. Well, I guess I will go for now. Take care everyone and have a good weekend.
LOVE TO ALL.........................CINDY

ReplyDeleteI will keep you in my prayers for the 4th. Keep us updated!! I'll be worrying about you.
ReplyDeleteI shall be praying for you Cindy and hope all the test results are good. Well done on losing that weight, I would like to know how you have done it. Hugs xxxx
ReplyDeleteYou know how much they love you and need you in their lives, and to do that means you have to take care of yourself, too. And, do it for yourself. You can stay being a survivor, stay being strong. Yeah, easy for me to say as I'm not in the same position at the moment. But, I know you will go, and you'll do what you can. I'm so sorry things are so stressful, and yes, I'm sure all the cancer et al took a lot out of him. It tends to do that bs stuff. I'll be praying for you. Please do update how things go Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy, I am so happy when I see you have written an entry. I miss you so much when all is quiet then my imagination starts to run riot !! Why ever do I do that as I leave you in Gods hand each evening..an he will give us an answer ...in his time...I am sure for such a faithful servant as you are you will be ok. It will be so wonderful if the law suit could come through sooner rather than later. 25lbs. That is northing short of BRILLIANT..well done you x
ReplyDeleteYou are all in my thoughts.
Love Sybil xx
You've lost a lot of weight. Your clothes have to be hanging off of you. Congratulations. I have to do something. I'm at my heaviest in my entire life. I'm getting sick from it.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping and praying that all these other lumps and bumps just mean you have lumpy breasts. You will see. I know you're stressing out on the what-if's but don't borrow trouble. You don't know for certain you have something seriously wrong. Standing in faith I pray that you don't.
It'd be incredibly happy ever after if you all can get a home together. It sounds like you are doing all the parenting there at that house. I hope you get a rest soon. But being a grandmother myself, I know how you love caring for your family just like I do. Pace yourself though. I want you here for a long, long time.
