Here is some of the old photo's my brother gave to me. I would love to know how old this clothing is these people are wearing. I am not worried about posting these pics here in my journal, because after all, I don't believe any of these people are still living. Their hair style and clothing is fascinating though. What do you think?

These were very interesting! I love the clothes. I always wonder what their lives were like. Interesting they never smile. My mom said it's because they had to sit a long time for the exposure to take.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting Cindy.
Love ya,

I think they were my grandparents.......not really LOL But alot of their old photos look like that. I think people mostly wore those clothes for photographs. xoxBarbara

Those were cute. I loved seeing them. Notice how nobody smiles. They were serious pictures. It probably took everything they had to go get a photo like that made in those days.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Chrissie
now these would fascinate Rick....when we are at CB he always goes on and on about how pissed off the dead people on the walls look. If you look at these pics, the ladies look like they want to beat the hell out of someone.....lol. I told Rick that if he had to go around wearing a contraption that squeezed your gut and boobs into a vice (what is that thing called from the 1800's?) he would be pissy too.

Do you know who the photos have taken of or where they were taken?
