Well, the mother/daughter outing was a success. We had such a great time. First we went to KMart, where the little stinker talked me into buying her quite a few toys. Dinosaurs, boats, a dry erase board and markers, and a toy with those little animals and wobbly heads. Can't remember what their called. Anyways, $60.00 later we left KMart. Then it was a short drive across the parking lot to Wendy's, where Rebecca had her usual Chicken nugget kid's meal, and chocolate frosty. Yep I had one too. And the best part of her meal was the toy she found in the bag. A TURTLE!!!!!!!! Oh noooooooo not another turtle. My child is a turtle freak. She see's a stuffed turtle and she wants it. She has at least 30 stuffed turtles. She also has 2 real turtles. ROCKY is a red earred slider, and JOEY is a map turtle. They live in a 30 gallon water filled tank, right here in the livingroom. Rocky gets any bigger and it'll be a 50 gallon tank next. After lunch we went to CVS and I picked up the prescriptions. We then went for a nice walk in the park. There's also a playground there, so Rebecca had a great time. We then came home and she played with her new toys for a while, until we went downstairs to sit with Mommom I for a while. I started feeling tired after about an hour, so Rebecca and I came upstairs. I fixed her a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. I decided on soup also, with bread and butter.
It is now 9:26pm and my little Princess is sound asleep in her bed, along with all those stuffed turtles, and about 40 other stuffed animals, lol. Hubby is passed out on the couch. I don't think he even ate dinner yet, unless he ate when he was out with Joe up at the boat.
Well, I'm sitting here wondering how my little sister Susan and her girls are doing with the sleepover party. I bet they are having a great time. Those two girls are so loved by their Mom and Dad. I watched them get so many hugs during S birthday party. Susan and her Hubby are really great parent's and show their girls so much love. It melted my heart to see the love they all have for one another. I hope Susan gets up early and posts an entry on their fun, cause I'm really anxious to hear about it.LOL
Well, that's all about my day. Hope you all have a great evening and a wonderful sunday.
Sounds like you had a great time!
