A SPECIAL DAY

balloons

happy

Today is a very special day. It is the day my baby girl turns 7 years old. On September 13, 2001 at 10:30am, I had a c-section and this baby was taken from my womb. She was perfect. 10 fingers and 10 toes, all pink and a little bald head. She is out with her daddy birthday shopping. He takes her out each year for her birthday. They went to breakfast also.

Tomorrow we will have her party. I asked her if she wanted pizza or hotdogs or taco party. Nope not my kid. She wanted a whole ham cooked on the grill, deviled eggs, pasta salad, baked beans and mini hotdogs baked in crescent rolls, lol. Is this normal for a 7yr old to want food such as this for her birthday? And of course there will be a Carvel icecream cake, cookies, juice, soda, coffee. Today I will go out and get her decorations, balloons, plates, cups and napkins. She wants the decor to be red and white. I'll dollar store those items and go to Party City for decorations and party favors and noise makers.

I am going to make this short. I promise to make another entry soon, complete with birthday pictures.

LOVE TO ALL..............CINDY

  23. I have so missed you and haven't had an alert from you in ages.
This sweet little girl is growing so big so fast.  She looks gorgeous in that dress.  You have spoiled her if that's possible with giving her such a good life, the kind of birthday parties we all wished we'd have had.  And bless you for doing so!  I hope she remembers her childhood with so much fondness.  I also hope you hold fast to your strength for her teenage years are approaching.  For now you have some sweetheart, baby girl time.
