Bye my friends, see you sunday night hopefully

Luggage is packed, sandwiches are made. Juice, soda's and bottled water is in fridge. I cleaned out some pics in camera and I can take 286 pictures while I am in Pittsburgh. I got Rebecca's toys packed. Six stuffed animals, Leap Pad, Doodle Pad and a book, pocket poker game, she can play that game too, lol. Her favorite blanket is packed also. Jim gased up the van, took 41.00 to fill it from half a tank. That is just crazy. These fuel companies are getting rich from us.

I got my kitchen all cleaned up. We ordered pizza for dinner. They were out of chicken breast for my caesar salad, grrrrrrrrr. It can happen, I worked at a place where we always ran out of chicken. I got a hand tosses pizza with green peppers, black olives and red onion. The crust was very thin, but I don't eat the crust, I always cut it off. Too chewy for someone with no teeth to chew, lol. Rebecca ate it also. She loves veggies on her pizza. There's still 4 slices left. I put it in freezer.

I found that above tag on the net tonight. I typed in good bye graphics and found this from a list. Maxine is so cool. Agenda tomorrow. Get up early, coffee, breakfast, shower, get dressed load van and on the road we go. We're going straight to the hotel to freshen up, go visit the bride and groom (Mike and Kim) then go have dinner and back to hotel for a good nights sleep. Then saturday is the big shin dig, lol. BBQ Reception. All day thing I suppose. We'll check out of hotel sunday around 11:am and head back to Philadelphia. We should be home by 7:30pm. Bathroom stops and dinner stop will make that time to get home. I just reminded myself to take a roll of paper towels, some spray cleaner and a trash bag just in case Rebecca get's car sick. She isn't too good on long rides.

Well, I hope you all enjoy your weekend. I will miss you all when I am gone. I know I'll be sitting just thinking about you all and wondering what your doing, and if your all ok. Take care everyone, I'll miss you while I am gone.

Tooth Fairy visits Rebecca/Trip

The tooth fairy paid a visit to Rebecca during the night. She woke Jim and I up at 6:am to let us know there was money under her pillow. She told me tonight when the ice cream truck (Mr. Softee) comes around she wants to buy an icecream cone with sprinkles, lol.

Well, tomorrow morning at 10:am we will be leaving for our trip to Pittsburgh. It's going to be good to get out of this city for a few days. I really need a vacation. No housework, no cooking, yea sounds good to me.

In a little while we're going to walk down to the deli for ham, turkey and cheese, rolls, snack bags of chips, and pretzels, juice jugs for Rebecca, and a couple 20 oz bottles of diet pepsi for me, and iced tea for Jim. Emma is going to drop off a suitcase for me to use. So, I will get that packed up. I want to clean my apartment really good, so I can come home to a clean house. Jim said no cooking dinner tonight, we can order take out. I already know what I want. A grilled chicken caesar salad, mmmmmmmm. I can live on those salads.

I also have to remember to clear out my camera so I have room on it to take lots of pictures of our vacation, wedding reception/BBQ. I never heard of a catered BBQ before, and that's what this one is going to be. I hope theirs hotdogs, lol. Or is that Lips and .......... lol.

Did I mention my sister Lucys friend Pete came yesterday. He took everything I had for Lucy and her grandkids back to virginia with him to give to Lucy. My sister is so happy to get the washer and dryer I gave her. I'm glad it gives her happiness.

Well, I'd better go and get my day started. I will make an entry tonight saying good bye to you all. Man, what am I going to do without my computer or JLand for 3 days.

Love to you all..............................CINDY

In Memory of .................

WESTCOTT, KATHRYN, (nee Culver), 61 - of Estell Manor, departed this life and went home to be with our Lord on May 28, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born January 6, 1946, a daughter of the late William and Kathryn Culver. She was united in marriage to William Westcott on April 30, 1965. For the following 42 years she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, boating, reading, gardening, baking and eating out. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband William Sr.; her three sons, William Jr., Adam, Philip and wife Michelle; one daughter Diane Chezum; her grandchildren Thomas Westcott, Cody and Joshua Chezum, Dillinger Boyer, Marybeth and Makayla Westcott. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The New Covenant Community Church and above address.

I found out this morning that someone very dear to me has passed away. This lady was like a mother to me. She was always there when I needed her, and I was always there when she needed me. I use to babysit her 4 children when they were young. I spent many a weekends during summers over her house, where we would bake, go to the beach, or sit outside in the sun just talking. She was the mother I never had, since my own mother died when I was 9 years old. She baked me birthday cakes, bought me birthday and christmas gifts, gave me hugs when I was sad, and made me feel as though I was a member of her family.

When Jim and I were married, this special lady baked our wedding cake, prepared all the food, decorated the Hall, which was called Clover Gunning Club that my Dad was a member of. She let me wear the necklace she wore on her wedding day, when I got married. She stood by my side on my wedding day. She was my Maid of Honor. Her husband Bill was an usher at our wedding.

She was such a loving caring devoted wife, mother and friend and later on a devoted grandmother. If you were cold, she'd give you a blanket or warm coat. If you were hungry, she'd put a plate of food in front of you, and if you were sad, she'd open her arms to you and hold you until the sadness passed.

I know in my heart God opened his arms to her and accepted her into his kingdom, and she is now a true angel, rewarded with love, peace, tranquility and beautiful angel wings. What I remember most about her, was her smile. No matter how hurt you were or how sad, her smile always made you feel better.

So, to my dear friend I say, Fly free, you left behind a piece of you in the love and generousity you showed for all your family and friends. You will always be remembered in all of our hearts and minds. We love you.

A Special Announcement

I have a very special announcement to share with you all. My little girl Rebecca lost her first tooth today, without having the dentist pull it like he did with her 4 front teeth last year. She lost a bottom tooth. It was so loose it was just hanging there. So with a gently pull it came out. She is so happy about this. All she keeps saying is I wonder what the Tooth Fairy will give me, lol.

Here she is showing off her missing tooth, lol.

I think I wanna cry, because this means my little girl is growing up, sniff, sniff, sniff. She's so proud of that empty spot where that tooth was, lol.

Love to all..................Cindy

Thank you Poppop Bill

By the time the Lord made woman,

He was into his sixth day of working overtime..

An angel appeared and said,

"Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her?

She has to be completely washable, but not plastic,

have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable

and able to run on diet coke and leftovers,

have a lap that can hold four children at one time,

have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart

-and she will do everything

with only two ha nds."

The angel was astounded at the requirements.

"Only two hands!? No way!

And that's just on the standard model?

That's too much work for one day.

Wait until tomorrow to finish."

But I won't," the Lord protested.

"I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart.

She already heals herself when she is sick

AND can work 18 hour days."

The angel moved closer and touched the woman.

"But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft," the Lord agreed,

"but I have also made her tough.

You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.

T he Lord replied,

"Not only will she be able to think,

she will be able to reason and negotiate."

The angel then noticed something,

and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek.

"Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.

I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."

"That's not a leak,"

the Lord corrected,

"that's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy,

her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love,

her loneliness, her grief and her pride"

The angel was impressed.

"You are a genius, Lord.

You thought of everything!

Woman is truly amazing."

And she is!

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness,

love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy

and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss

can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love

They have compassion and ideals.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

HOWEVER, I F THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

PLEASE pass this along to all your women friends and relatives

to remind them just how amazing they are.

So, today I pass this along to all the beautiful women I have had the pleasure to meet here in JLand.

I love you all

GOOD MORNING

Memorial Day  is just not to celebrate with swimming and backyard BBQ's, it is for remembering those who served in wars such as WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, and also for those who are overseas right now. It's for remembering our fallen hero's, those who died, those who were injured, those who were captured and imprisoned in a POW camps. To all these men and women I sallute you, and I thank you.

Memorial Day and Veteran's day are very special to me. My father was a Korean War Veteran, who served in the navy. My father in law is a Korean War Veteran, who served in the Marines. And I am proud to say my hubby is a Vietnam War veteran, who served in the Navy. My hubby has told me stories of how protestors would spit at the military men and women, calling them  names. Well, in my opinion those who did so were cowards. Where were they during the Vietnam War? They sure were'nt fighting for the country that they claimed to love so much, instead they were putting those down who believed in our country, who cared. I for one am a proud american, proud for having men and women with the courage to fight for this country, fight for us, fight for our freedom. God Bless them ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry this entry is late. So much was going on yesterday. Lucy's friend Pete didn't come. He didn't have any room in his truck. He had to pick up 9000.00 worth of supplies for his business and just didn't have any room. But he said he will be here wednesday. I sure hope so.

Jim and Joe got home at 11:am yesterday. Rebecca was so happy to see her Daddy. She ran up to him with open arms, and didn't leave his side until it was her bedtime. Jim and Joe said they came home early so Rebecca and I could celebrate memorial day, and not sit home alone. That was nice of them to think of us.

They had a great time up at the cabin, even though they had no electric. Their friends were down at the bottom of the mountain at their cabin, so Jim and Joe were invited to a cookout sunday. They enjoyed that. They cut down alot of dead tree's and burned them, to avoid termites later spreading to thecabin.

Here's Jim and the fire they made. Next photo is Joe.

What is it with men and campfires? These 2 are careful though. They have made a fire pit, and before they make the fire, they have six 5 gallon buckets full of water. They dump water all around the ground around fire pit so no hot sparks cause a fire that gets out of control, and they refill the buckets to keep just in case. They've only got about 10 more dead tree's to cut up and burn now.

Well, in 3 days we are leaving for our trip to Pittsburgh. It'll be nice to get out of the noisey city for a few days. We're going to a horse ranch owned by Joe's brother Mike and his wife Kim. It's a wedding reception for them. They were married about 4 months ago, but they waited to have the reception so they would have nice weather and could have it at the ranch outside. It is a catered BBQ, should be lots of good food. Rebecca asked Joe if there's any baby horses she can pet. And guess what? There is. One of the mares just had a baby last week. Here's a pic of mommy and her baby.

This is momma Sadie, and her son Shooter.

Isn't he adorable? I'm going to clean off my camera disk and take extra batteries, so I can get lots of pictures to share with you all, of our trip to Pittsburgh. I'm pretty sure the band that is going to be there is Mikes son Chad from his first marriage. Chad's band is awesome. This is Mikes, third marriage, but he says this time it is for keeps. Kim is a very nice lady, very smart and so loving. I can't wait to go there, but I am also dreading the drive. It takes about 6.5 hours to get there. I'm packing the cooler with sandwiches and juice and water. Bringing snacks to munch on. I bought Rebecca things to keep her busy such as a SpongeBob video game, a poker video game (she matches the letters and numbers) a new book and chip for her Leap Pad that she received from a Jlander, and a Strawberry shortcake Doodle pad and book. Also her Dry Erase board and markers, so she will have plenty to keep her busy. I have to start getting out clothes and packing them up for us. I wrapped Mike and Kim's gift. I got them a porceline frame. It has 2 small photo sections where they put a childhood picture of themselves in, and then a larger section where a wedding photo goes in. It's really beautiful.

Now, I want to share something very sad with you, sent to me by my friend Carol who lives in Florida. This is a reason I do not like PITBULL dogs. They are dangerous. I do not care how calm or friendly they act. They are a breed of dog that can turn on you in a split second. They are born with a mean streak, and no matter how well trained to be obedient, that mean streak is still there. Here is what she sent me.

HI, JUST WANDERING IF YOU CAN PUT SOMETHING IN YOUR JOURNAL, MY OLD NEIGHBOR IN THE ESTATES WAS MAULED EARLY FRIDAY AM AS SHE WAS TAKING HER MORNING WALK, SHE WAS MAULED BY 2 PITT BULLS, HER NAME WAS MRS. VILMOT BENJAMINS  ON JUNG BLVD E. NAPLES.  SHE NEVER RETURNED FROM HER WALK, SOMEBODY FOUND HER BODY SATURDAY AFTER 2PM, THE FAMILY FOUND HER HAIR, AND HER GLASSES NEAR HER, SHE WAS 20 YARDS FROM HER HOUSE, SHE WAS FOUND FACED DOWN IN A DITCH, AND SHE MUST OF DIED FRIDAY, BUT WHY NOT BE FOUND TILL AFTER 2PM ON SATURDAY, SHE WAS 72 YRS. OLD,,,,,,,, ITS VERY SAD, BUT THE FAMILY IS TAKING CARE OF EACH OTHER, AND THEY ARE DOING OK. I HOPE ANIMAL CONTROL CATCH THE PITTBULLS.

Is this awful or what? That poor woman, and what she must of gone through. It just breaks my heart, thinking of the pain and the horror this poor woman went through leading to her death. I hope these dogs are found and killed.  Please say a prayer for her family. I am so glad my friend Carol moved from that area.

Well, Jim cooked chicken and burgers out on the grill last night. Man was it good. Those burgers were so juicy. I whipped up some potato salad and deviled eggs to go along with it. Jim and Rebecca went to bed around 8PM. I stayed upworking on one of the projects I am doing. I'm crocheting a doiley. It is almost done. I sat crocheting and watching tv. Then I got bored and baked cupcakes, lol. 10PM and I'm in the kitchen baking. I didn't even go on computer last night. Sometimes I just need a break from it. But this morning I woke up to 115 new emails, along with the 86 I had when I signed off yesterday. Guess I have alot of reading to do, huh? Well, I guess that's about all there is to write about. I have some mail to get out in the mailbox this morning. So, take care, and enjoy your day.

What's on the list today?

Good Morning or is it? First I am awakened before 7:am by my child. Get up Mom, I can't sleep!!!!!!!!! I look at clock with one eye open, and it is 6:45. I look at this child standing there beside my bed, and say, Get back in your bed, it is too early. She goes back to her bed. Fifteen minutes later I hear, Well, are you getting up? Grrrrrrrrr. I tell her, No, I am sleeping in a little more. I also tell her, Do you know it is the law that Mommy's have to sleep on saturday. So, I close my eyes again. About 2 minutes later, Miss Smarty Pants tells me, Well, it's sunday so you can't sleep anymore. I tell her I'll get up in a few minutes. Then Miss Smarty Pants says, Well, I can't get up by myself, I might get into something and make a mess. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Knowing the history of this child and the messes she can make, I kicked off the covers and got up. Dragged myself into bathroom, splashed water on face. Walked into kitchen grabbed a diet pepsi. Sit down, sip pepsi, and she says, Well, turn cartoons on. Yea right, wake me up early and it is the news until 8:am. And news it was too. And what does she say? Nothing, her butt went into bedroom, climbed in her bed and said she was resting, lol. She's gonna make me get up, so she can get back into her bed and rest? It's gonna be a long day for sure.

It's going on 11:am and I just poured my second cup of coffee. I made a whole pot, cause I know I am going to need every bit of energy I can get today. Every room needs cleaning. Carpet needs vacuuming, bathroom and kitchen floors need mopping, dishes need to be done, clothes need to be folded and put away. Winter clothes have to be packed away. Refridgerator needs to be cleaned out, and washed down inside. Trash needs to be taken out. Beds have to be made. Yep, I need a whole pot of coffee.

Daniel is doing ok, with his chicken pox. The calamine wasn't working as well, so Emma went and bought a Benadryl anti itch cream, used for poison ivy or oak and has been putting it on him. Well, he's not scratching anymore, and running around saying itchy mommy. The bubbles have popped and are scabbing over now. She asked me if we want to come over today. HELL NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I am not taking any chances of Rebecca getting them, or me. I'll just keep my butt in my apartment, stay cool and clean. And when dinner time comes around, I am ordering out. I am craving Spicey brocoli with garlic sauce. And steamed vegetable wontons. There my favorite's in chinese food. Besides after I clean the kitchen, I don't want to mess it up again cooking dinner. Lunch today, very easy. A tossed salad topped with tuna. Rebecca will even eat that.

I decided I want my hair layered. So, if I'm not too tired later today, I will layer it. Yes, I can cut my own hair, lol. Never went to school for it, but I can cut, style, trim, dye, frost, and perm hair. I'll post a before and after pic, if I cut it tonight. I just bought a new pair of scissors too. More coffee is needed, be right back, lol.

@%&*@%$&%@ grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, ever step on an aluminum pot lid bottom side up? JEEZ, that hurts. It had to be on floor right? I am gonna hide the lids for sure, lol. Miss Smarty Pants, just told me I should of picked it up so I didn't step on it. Hmmmmm, anyone want a kid? Anyone? Third cup of coffee, should do the trick.

Gonna drink it, fix lunch and get going on chores. I want to have it all done, and Rebecca bathed before sunset. Last night was only a 30% chance of storms and we got slammed from 8:pm until almost 10:30pm with storms. Tonight they say air is very unstable and 40% chance of storms. That alone tells me we're in for another round. I got the candles out just in case. Since I know no one is coming over, I'm keeping my door locked. Too many nuts in this city. And to be home alone with a child, makes me nervous. So locked doors it is. I will open it and lock it again after dinner is delivered.

I have searched and searched for a skirt type thing for my new bathing suit to hide my fat thighs, and I cannot find one. I even went on line to Lane Bryant where I order my clothes. So, I have decided I will make my own. I already have the material, and a sewing machine, so that will be a nice project for me. I also have to finish making the 3 other projects I started for dear friends of mine. I will work on them during the week. Hopefully in the next few weeks I have them done. Two of them will be done for sure, but the third one will take me a while. Itis big.

Well, I guess that's about it for now. Gonna have lunch now. I didn't eat breakfast, so lunch is needed. Today is veggie and tuna day for me. Trying to lose this big gut of mine. I'm taking it slow though. I'm not starving myself. That just makes dieting even harder. I'm adding more veggies and fruits, and alot more water instead of so much diet pepsi, which is full of sodium and it makes me retain water during the summer. I can't wait for Jersey tomato's and crabs to come in season. I can make a whole meal with steamed crabs and sliced tomato's.

Hope your all having a great weekend. If your out in this heat, be sure to drink lots of water, and wear sunscreen.

Love to you all...................................

Rebecca and I

It's 11:30pm, and so very quiet tonight. Rebecca is sleeping, volume on tv is turned down low, and Jim is away for 3 days up to the cabin with Joe. They got up there and found no electric on. Which means no pump for water, no airconditioner, no refridgerator and no tv. LOL, and no coffee in the morning until they go to restaurant and get breakfast. Jim took his sleeping bag to lay on, but he forgot his pillow. Last time he forgot his pillow, his neck hurt for a week.

So, it is just Rebecca and I for the holiday weekend. We can't go to Emma's for risk of getting chicken pox. So, Rebecca and I went to Walmart. I bought 4 huge bath towels on sale for 3.84 each. A pair of clip on sunglasses for my eye glasses. I let Jim use my other pair of clip ons the other day and what he do? He lost them. He bought his own today, when he went to get sneakers. Bought a new frying pan with a glass lid. My frying pans suck. And of course a trip to the toy isle, lol. Rebecca has been wanting the Disney Princess Tea Party set, she saw on tv. Well, I found one. On sale for 9.88. Then she spotted a  basket of plastic veggies and fruits, and said she just had to have it. That item, 3.88. Ok, walking down the isle thinking we're done shopping, she yells, Mommy, there it is and is pointing on the very top shelf. I look up and it's pots, pans, lids and utensils. And their real aluminum ones at that. I tell her no, and she starts crying. But I really need it mommy. I can make you dinner on my stove. Man, this kid is good. I reach up barely touching it with my finger tips. No one around to help. How am I getting this box down? Rebecca hands me a kids broom. Cool, that'll work. Yea right. I knock down box off shelf thinking I can catch it. Wrong idea. Box bounces off my head and falls in cart. All, I can say about that, is thank goodness they weren't made of cast iron, lol. Practically dragged my child out of toy isle, was moving so fast, before I was attacked by anymore toys. Headed towards check-out isles. Walking down cleaning supply isle. Ah Ha, I need some cleaning supplies. Got Windex, and bathroom cleaner. Also picked up a case of bottled water. When it is hot and humid I drink alot of water, and I make Rebecca do so also. Came back home, put things away, and opened all Rebecca's things for her. She played for quite a while, until storm came. Wow, what a storm too. It poured, wind was blowing like it was mad, lightning so bright it lit up the room and thunder loud, very loud. Lost satelite for a bit, and I shut down computer just in case power went off and I lit a couple candles. It finally ended around 10:30.

Jim put both airconditoners in windows, thank goodness. Otherwise, I can't breathe when it's hot and muggy. Weather says sunny hot and humid tomorrow. 90 degrees. It's ok, Rebecca and I will stay indoors in the cool air.

Here I am wearing my new clip ons, and the outfit I got to wear to the wedding reception/BBQ in Pittsburgh next weekend. All, I need now is a flower in my hair and a peace sign necklace, lol. Wonder where my child gets the I hate shoes thing from? LOL. And check out the mirror. I definately needed windex, don't ya think? I need to do something with my hair. Don't know what yet. Maybe have it layered.

And I took a few pics of Rebecca. Well, she made me take them. By the way, she took the one above of me. She's getting good at using my digital camera. So, here she is.

OH I FORGOT. SHE GOT A PIN WHEEL AT WALMART ALSO, 94 CENTS.

HER BASKET OF VEGGIES AND FRUIT.

Well, that's about it for now. I am tired and am going to bed. Hope your all having a great weekend.

LOVE TO ALL.............................

Birthday, Poetry, Singer

Today May 25th, my Dad would of celebrated his 70th birthday. Sadly he passed away in September of 2005. Happy Birthday Dad, I miss you.

How many of you watched American Idol wednesday night? Jim and I were glued to the television. Yes, my husband loves watching AI, lol. Ok so did you see the lady all done up in Yellow you got an award? Was she a trip or what? And the sounds coming from her mouth. And that poem? Did you know she is a celebrity? Yep, she sure is. And she is also a poet. I came across an email from POETRY.COM and I was like, NO way. It can't be Margaret Fowler. But it was. And she is on stage strutting her stuff, singing her heart out with a man who was my idol when I was a teenager. I loved this man. I even dreamed of marrying him when I had gotten older, lol. Teenage dreams, lol. Here he is, when I was younger and watched him on tv.

 Do you remember him?

It is Tony Orlando, the show was called Tony Orlando and Dawn. I loved this man. I idolized this man. In my eyes he was the most handsome guy I had ever seen perform on television. To me back then, he was GOD.

Tony performed live at a banquet given by poetry.com. And who did he invite up on stage to sing with him? None other then Margaret Fowler. This time she was dressed all in white. Let me just say I was shocked, cause Miss Thing can sing. Margaret got up on that stage, and strutted her stuff and sang her heart out like it was something she was born to do.

Click on the link below and watch her for yourself. And the guy who invites her up on stage is, Tony Orlando.

Watch Margaret Fowler And Tony Orlando Sing At Last Year's ISP Convention!

Well, I am going to brf. I can't stand awake aaaay today,

Love to allllllllll.      Cindy

Is Friday over with yet?

I can honestly say today totally sucked. First I was awakened at 6:am by Jim saying the girls are up. I was hoping to sleep in a bit, since I put them to bed later last night. Didn't work out that way. I drink a half of pot of coffee this morning. The only thing it did for me was make me feel sick, due to it was so hot in here. I can't drink coffee when I am sweating like a roasting pig. As I look up at the thermometer I have hanging on my wall above my computer, it is reading 82 degree's in here. Ohhhhhhh, Jim honey, I need airconditioner's in windows please, lol. Speaking of Jim, he came home yesterday with his head looking like a tomato. I told him he shaves his head and when in sun he will burn, so should wear a hat. But did he listen? Nooooooooo, he didn't. Now he's Mr. Tomato head, lol. OK, so where was I? Oh yea, these 2 girls. Let's see what have they done today? Hmmm, let's say they flooded a huge spot on livingroom carpet. They come in carrying a huge bowl of water, trip and it spills all over. Ask them why they got a bowl the bowl of water? We want our teddy bears (small 4 inch) to go swimming. Stuffed bears, go swimming? Get towels, soaked up water, hung towels over shower rail to dry before putting in laundry basket to avoid mildew. Yell at girls again, Get into water again and it's corner for the both of you. We won't. Can we go in bedroom to play? Go!!!!!! After about 15 minutes, it was too quiet. I sneak into bedroom and what do I find? A big bowl of very soapy water and 2 evil little girls, pretending their angels, standing there with dripping wet bigger stuffed bears, saying they were stinky and needed a bath. Take what's left of soapy water in bowl, which wasn't much since bears soaked it all up, dump out bowl, and throw both soapy dripping wet bears right into trashcan. Both girls start yelling, noooooooo don't throw bears away. Grab wooden spoon, 2 girls run, it ends the yelling, put spoon back in holder. Get another towel from bathroom, soak up soapy water off bedroom floor, hang towel back up. I look down at bottom of bed on floor, and I see clean clothes from basket I have not put away yet on floor. Pick up clothes, and what do I find? Their soaking wet, with what else, but soapy water. Hang them up over stairway rail to dry, so can put in dirty laundry and avoid mildew again. Take bothgirls in livingroom, put on couch. Turn off cartoons and make them watch Walker, Texas Ranger. It was 9:am and it just came on. Yes, all the water mess was done before 9:am, grrrrrrr. So, while they watch tv, I fix them breakfast. Did they want cereal or toast? Nooooo, we want eggs, bacon, sausage, toast. Ok, get out electric griddle, faster to cook all that food on. Fix them nice breakfast, tell them be good and I make something special for lunch. Ok, we'll be good. LIARS!!!!!!!!! They trashed livingroom, while I was doing dishes, Marissa dropped Rebecca's toy stove on her foot and was screaming. She got made at Rebecca's toy and went into bedroom and ripped Rebecca's circus poster off wall, making Rebecca scream. Make both girls clean livingroom and sit on couch again. Walker marathon, wooohooooooo, they watched another hour of it on couch. Something special for lunch? Nope. Here's a hotdog on a bun with mustard and juice, eat it. But we want something special. And I want a clean house, so guess what? I don't get what I want, so you don't get what you want!!!!!!!! Your mean Mommom, I don't like you!!! Eat lunch, back up on couch, more Walker. No toys, no treats, no snacks, no coloring, no stuffed animals, just sit there, be quiet and enjoy Walker, heehee. I am so bad, lol. It is now 5:50pm and Dan's brother Bill just picked up Marissa and took her home, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Son of the Mask is on, and Rebecca is sitting on the couch all quiet watching it. I have a headache, sweating like a pig, my ankles and feet are swollen, which happens every year when hot weather rolls in, and I'm drinking a glass of iced tea. Jim just called. He's on his way home. I told him it's take out night. I refuse to cook tonight, it's just too hot. And I have a headache.

Ok so earlier today my daughter Emma calls me. Mom, I have to take Daniel to the pediatricians. He has little bubbles all over him and keeps saying Mommy, itchy, and he's scratching them. She calls a couple hours later. My grandson has CHICKEN POX. He got the chicken pox shot a while back, but can still get them, but not as bad. Which means the girls will probably get them, and guess what? I never had Chicken Pox. Oh boy, this is gonna be fun. So, I had to cancel the picnic with Jeanne tomorrow. We're planning another one, but I'll let her tell you about it. She came up with an awesome idea.

Well, Jim is home, so I will go now. Take care, keep cool.

Love to all.......................................

Rebecca the Magician

Good Morning my dear friends. It is a sunny morning here, with a slight breeze blowing and temps in the upper 50's right now, but will soon be rising to make the day warmer. Rebecca and I are staying home today. I have a few things I want to do here at home. Such as clean and organize kitchen closet, pack away the winter clothes and blankets, mop kitchen and bathroom floors and wash down the window sills in livingroom. They collect so much dirt because I live on a main intersection here in Philadelphia.

This is cute. I just have to share it with you. You all know the trouble I have getting Rebecca to clean up her messes. Well, my Jim has come up with a great idea. He tried it on Rebecca last night and again this morning before he left for work. And it worked!!!!!! So, here's what he has come up with. Rebecca likes to pretend she is a magician. So, Jim gave her one of my wooden spoons and told her it was a magic spoon and it can make things disappear, lol. This kid believes anything her Daddy says. So, last night she had a few toys on the couch and on her table set we just got her. He then tells her, Well, I don't think you can make these toys magically go into your toybox. She says, Oh yea, I can do magic and make them disappear into my toybox!! He says, Ok Prove it. She tells Jim to close his eyes and don't open them until she tells him too. I pretend I don't see what she's doing, heehee. She waves herwand/woodenspoon and says abra cadabra toys go into toybox (off table). And she quietly takes the toys off table and puts them very gently into toybox. Then she says ok daddy open your eyes. He see's the toys are off the table and smiles and says Wow, Rebecca that was great magic. He then says Can you do it again with the ones on couch? She says sure. Close your eyes Daddy, and again she says abra cadabra toys disappear off couch into toybox, and quietly puts toys in toybox, and says ok daddy open your eyes. Jim again smiling, saying wow, I guess you really are a magician. Rebecca says, Yup, I am the Great Rebecca and I can do magic tricks. So, she says Daddy, do you want to see me make myself disappear? He says, Can you do that trick? She says yup I can. He says ok go for it. She tells him, close your eyes daddy. He closes his eyes and she says, abra cadabra make Rebecca disappear, and she runs out of the room. And she yells open your eyes daddy. He opens his eyes and loudly says, wow Rebecca disappeared. He waited about a minute, and said ok where did she go. She yells again, close your eyes daddy. And she yells abra cadabra Rebecca appear in livingroom and she comes running into livingroom. And says open your eyes daddy. When he opens his eyes, she is standing there eatting a chocolate cupcake, and tells him, I used magic to go into kitchen and get a little snack cause all that magic made me hungry. Jim and I cracked up, cause she looked so serious. I laughed so much, my stomach hurt. But I did have a clean livingroom again, lol.

Yesterday I went to my daughter Emma's for a while. Marissa and Rebecca played outside in the yard, and Daniel was indoors with Emma and I. He grabs this little blue block. Emma says, Watch Daniel Mom. He pretends he is pulling up a cellphone antenna, and puts block to his ear, then pretends he is pushing buttons and looks at me and says, I churping Poppop. Then he says into the block, Hi Poppop, Mommom go shopping. Money, van, keys. Bye bye Poppop. It was so cute watching him do that. And he's not done yet. Emma tells him churp Uncle Mike (Dans brother). He pretends to pull out antenna again press buttons, put to his ear and says, it's busy. Emma tells him well tell Uncle Mike to call you. He puts the block to his mouth and yells, Mike, Call me!!!!!!! I swear that boy is just too smart. He watches everyone with their cellphone and churping phones and he knows exactly what to do with them. So far using my cellphone, he has called his Poppop, and his Mommy's phone.

I went to Walmart yesterday. They had an awesome clearance sale on shorts and shirts for Rebecca and sun dresses. I picked her up a few things, got Jim a pair of pants and a couple shirts for our trip to Pittsburgh on June 1st to 3rd, also found a couple shirts for myself and a bathing suit. I always have a hard time finding a bathing suit that I like and that fits and doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. Well I got a nice black, white and teal print one for 16.84. Usually they get 32.00 and up for a swimsuit that will fit. I still want to find one of those wrap around skirts for it. I don't like my thighs showing, lol.

Well, I have been informed by this shortlittle person here, that it is now time to fix her breakfast. So, I'd better get to it. I hope you all have a wonderful day. I have 20 alerts to read today, and I will. I'll get my housework done early, get to the alerts then I want to post some more recipes. I haven't done that in quite a while. Take care, and enjoy the day.

The baby is doing great and so is her mommy. I asked my niece if she was going to call the baby on a daily basis Jacqueline. She said to call the baby Jackie. So, Jackie it is. Isn't she adorable?

So, welcome to the world lil Jackie. You are so beautiful. And congrats to her Mommy and Daddy, she is perfect.

Here's my Mommy, Daddy and my big brother Ricky when he was a baby. My mommy stays home and takes care of me and my brother. And my daddy works to take care of us.

Rebecca is happy

My baby girl is happy. She came home and seen her bed and said, "Is this for me?" Jim said it sure is. Well, she climbed up on her bed, and said WOW, this is big. She laid down and said it was soft and comfy. Then she sat up. Jim asked her well do you like it? She said I love it, thank you daddy, thank you mommy. She went to bed at 9pm last night and didn't wake up til 7:30. She is usually up at 6am. Guess it is comfy huh? Then we showed her the table and chairs. Well, she just loves it. She had her dinner at the table, has colored at the table, ate her breakfast at the table. Of course, she was wearing her witch hat, she spotted while I was cleaning the livingroom closet out. I started the closet at 11am, I finally finished at 5:30pm. What a job that was. Lucy is getting 2 toy boxes, a very large box of stuffed animals, 2  39 gallon bags of stuffed toys, one of the toyboxes is filled with lego blocks, and other toys, a red wagon for lego blocks, a metal red wagon, Elmo chair, huge metal dog kennel, stained glass bar lights, she can use them or sell them. Dishes, clothes, raincoats for 2 grandsons, Anthony and Lil Ricky. A topless style baby swing and an umbrella stroller for my nieces new baby girl. (Separate entry and pics coming after this entry) and a floor lamp for Lucy. I am also sending her pictures and the memorial album I made of her daughter Sandy, who died almost 4 years ago. Her friend Pete isn't coming today, but he is suppose to come this week. Wait til he see's all the stuff he has to take to virginia to Lucy's house, lol. Oh and Emma has 2 very tall and heavy night stands to go to Lucy also. Plus my washer and dryer. It feels really good knowing that all these things can be used and are needed. I didn't want to just throw them away or give to charity. I'm glad Lucy and her kids and grandkids can use them. Well, I am going to go now. I wanna put in the entry of my newest great-niece. She is such a cutie.

Love to you all,

CINDY

My weekend so far

Busy, busy, and busy is what Jim and I have been so far this weekend. We dropped Rebecca off at her sister Emma's yesterday morning, along with pillow, sleeping bag, jammies, 2 changes of clothes, stuffed animals, toothbrush, snacks and a couple of her favorite DVD's. Then it was off to BigLots to do some furniture shopping. Rebecca changed her mind about the poster/canopy style bed. She said she didn't like it. She wanted a little bed, lol. So, I checked on line and found the above bed. It is adorable, and what a job Jim had putting it together. So many screws and nails. It took him 3 hours, lol. We got the bed base for 99.99, the bookshelf head board for 49.99, and the mattress for 99.99. We also got a kids multi-colored folding table with 4 chairs for 29.99. I haven't taken it out of box yet. When I do I'll put a pic of it in journal. BigLots didn't have the sheets I wanted for Rebecca's bed, so after we got home and unloaded the van, I went to Walmart. They had her sheets, regular priced 29.99, but on sale for 17.64. So, in my cart they went. I also found a really bright pink set, plain no prints for 18.99 on sale for 11.94, in the cart they went too. I bought her a new pillow, 5.00. When I got home Jim was almost done putting the bed together. When he finished I made up her bed. She is going to be so surprised when she see's it. I love the drawers at the bottom. I am keeping her extra blankets, sheets, pillow cases in 2 of the drawers. The third drawer I have put her barbies and clothes in it.

I added a couple recent pics of Daniel. Emma cut his hair so short, he looks bald now like his Poppop, lol. And of course there's one with the hat again, lol. I don't know what it is about that hat, but he loves it. Emma said he even wants to wear it when he goes to bed at night, lol. She waits til he falls asleep and she takes it off of him. He has got the biggest brown eyes and longest eyelashes I have ever seen on a boy.

Jim is at the laundrymat right now, doing our laundry. He has to stop at store and pick me up some oil and brocolli too for supper tonight. Making Rebecca's favorite dinner, fried chicken legs, brocolli and macaronni and cheese. She will only eat chicken legs, lol. As soon as I finish with this entry, I am going to get dressed and start unloading the livingroom closet, so Jim and I can sort through everything. My sister Lucys friend Pete is coming tomorrow, so I want to have everything ready for him to take back to virginia to Lucy.

I want to send a shout out to Angies son Eric, who is having a birthday. Happy Birthday Eric. I hope it is a special one for you and you have loads of fun. I will be sending you a card with a surprise in it. Angie is so awesome, she has a big party planned for him. I know he is going to be one happy little boy.

And also, don't worry LJ. I'm not leaving JLand. The thought never crossed my mind. You guys are like family to me, and I'd be heart broken not reading about your lives, and telling you about mine. Last month marked 1 year of my journaling here with you all. And I hope to be here many more years. You guys ROCK, in my book!!!!!! And I love you all dearly.

I haven't heard from poetry.com yet about the IPOD. I will let you know when I do, I promise. Well, I'd better get my tired butt dressed and get to emptying this closet. It's gonna be a longggggggggggggggg day for this task. It took me 3 hours to do the hall closet, and it's a small closet. This livingroom closet, I can put a Rebecca's bed and a dresser in it, it's huge. But no, I am not putting my child in the closet to sleep, no way. lol.

Gonna go, take care everyone, enjoy your sunday.

LOVE YOU LOTS...........................CINDY

GOOD MORNING

I was gonna make an entry with some tags, but after reading a few journals this morning I decided against it. I wasn't on computer yesterday, except for morning, and stayed off of computer last night, due to storms and American Idol was on. I cannot believe Melinda Dolittle was dismissed. That girl had an awesome voice. She was far more talented then Blake. I was so upset, I cried. Jim thought I was absolutely nuts, lol. I told him if that Blake wins over Jordin, then that's it. I won't ever watch the show again, and I mean that too. I am just so mad over Melinda being gone, grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Well, yesterday was not a good day for me. My body ached horribly, more so then it ever has. My right arm feels useless, and aches very bad. My legs and feet have been swelling alot. Guess I need to start taking water pills again. I have some, I just don't like taking them and peeing 900 times a day, lol. So, yesterday, I took a break. I shut down computer, so I wouldn't be tempted and walked around more then sat up on couch, so feet and legs were elevated. I was able to get some mail sent out. One was a 4 page letter to my brother Paul, the other was Virginia Tech graphics to my future SIL Nancy. She and her family knew a few of the people who were killed on that tragic day. So, I printed her out some memorium pictures on photo paper, so she could have them.

Jim and I had a long talk. We have decided we don't want to rent. We are going to have a credit report done, see what is on there, and maybe go to one of those debt consolidaters and see about getting our credit report cleared. My daughter Emma has a name of a lawyer/accountant who can get anyone a loan to buy a home no matter what kind of credit report they have. So we're going to check it out. We have to save our money from now on. I will keep it in money market account where it collects more interest then savings and checking. Well, I would rather buy a house then rent one anyways. Jim said for now, we're going to change the apartment around. Make livingroom the bedroom, and visa versa. The livingroom now is alot bigger then bedroom, so if we change them around he can partition the room and make it into 2 bedrooms. We're going out this weekend and getting Rebecca a new bed. The one I put in an entry. The rest of the furniture I am putting on layaway at Kmart. This Spongebob toddler bed is just too small. We're giving the toddler bed to Daniel. He loves it. So this weekend is going to be a busy one for us. Not only does furniture have to be moved, so does phone lines, cable lines, etc. Jim can do it though. He's the one who ran phone lines from kitchen and cable line in here.

My sister Lucy's friend is coming here monday with his truck. I am giving Lucy my washer and dryer. Why let it sit any longer with no one using it. And since she lost hers in the fire, she can definately use mine. So, it is hers come monday. I am also giving her a floor lamp, and anything else I want to get rid of. I have a ton of toys that are going to her for the grandkids she has there also. Blankets, etc. Hope this guy has a big truck, lol. Emma is going through her things also to give to Lucy. Speaking of Lucy, she became a grandmom again the other day. Her daughter Sharon had a baby girl, 7lbs 11oz and 19 inches long. I'll get a pic soon to show you. Lucy said she is absolutely beautiful. She was born 4 hours after Mother's Day ended. Congrats to Sharon and Ricky and their new baby. They have a son who is a big brother now. Lucys oldest daughter Donna is 14 weeks pregnant. She is also hoping for a girl. But she said he or she will be loved just the same.

Ok, so starting tomorrow, I am not going to be on computer as much. I'm taking a week and doing things around here that need to be done. I will keep my alerts on, but will get to them at night. In the mornings I will check email for personal emails, during the day it is cleaning, organizing, and sorting and even painting, then at night I'll try to catch up on journals. So, if I don't get to your entries right away, don't worry I will eventually. I am going to quit all the graphics groups I am in. It is just too much for me. Everyday I have over 300 emails, and lately I have just been deleting them. I feel bad doing that, but it's just too much for me. My photo bucket account is full, so now what do I do? Make another account? I already have 2 photo bucket accounts.

Today my plan is to clean out hall closet. There's so much crap in there. I even forgot what is in there, lol. Then I want to tackle the kitchen closet. There's alot in there I want to get rid of also. Tomorrow it'll be the livingroom walk-in closet. That one will take me all day. It is packed and I mean packed. I'll take a picture of it before I unpack it, so you can see what I am talking about.

Well, I guess that is about it for now. I hope your all enjoying your week. And I hope AOHELL fixes whatever they are doing soon.

LOVE TO ALL...................CINDY

The Doorbell's Night

My Sunday

Good Morning. Just thought I would pop in and make an entry before I start my day. When I awoke yesterday, I had a headache. I wasn't in the best of moods and didn't want to be bothered. I made coffee, sat at computer and read and commented on a few journal alerts. I had quiet time for about an hour, until Jim and Rebecca got up. Typical sunday morning it was, What's for breakfast? Fixed Rebecca cinnamon toast is all I did. Then sat back down at computer and read some more journals. About an hour later, Jim bags up the laundry and off he went to the laundry mat. He calls, and wants to know what's for dinner, I tell him I don't know figure it out. I had mentioned saturday night that I would like to be taken out to dinner for Mother's Day, guess he forgot. So, he comes home from laundry mat with a roast, gravy mix, and salad fixings, and says I thought this would be nice for dinner. I looked at him and had to turn away. I was so mad. It was mothers day and he expected me to cook? I shut down computer, got dressed, grabbed my purse and said see ya!! He was like, where are you going? I told him, I am going out to celebrate Mother's Day by myself, and out the door I went. Got in the van, turned on the oldies station to 98.1 and off I drove. I went to Walmart where I spent 78.00 on me. Things I wanted and things I want to make for 2 people I love and adore, on line friends. They'll know who they are when they get a package from me. I bought myself some new slippers, a book I wanted called, The Crossroads by Beverly Lewis. She grew up in Lancaster, Pa, in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country area. I started reading it last night and so far I love it. I also bought my daughter a mother's day gift. A book I know she'd love to read. I forgot the name and author but I'll find out what it is this week. I got, doilley string, 2 colors, and a small crochete needle to make the doilley's, a brand new plain white pillow to crochete a cover for, a dish pan for my kitchen, and I found stensils that my sis in law Nancy hasn't been able to find where she lives. Tomorrow a trip to the post office is needed. I need 41 cent stamps and 10 2 cent stamps. I also have 3 envelopes to mail that I know need extra postage.

So after Walmart, I sat in my van for a bit enjoying a cold diet pepsi and thought about dinner. I knew I wouldn't get taken out to dinner. So, I went to the Acme and bought hotdogs, hamburger, rolls, chips, dip, 12pk diet pepsi, pickles. I figured I'd fix something easy for dinner after I cleaned the kitchen, grrrrrrrrrrr. I pull up to my house, music blasting, lol, windows in van all open and sat there a minute waiting for a song I liked to end. Jim must of heard the music and looked out and seen it was me and came out to the van. He carried up the groceries for me. As I was walking in the front door carrying my walmart bags, Joe opens his door and says, Come here you! I thought, Oh shit, what did I do? He leans forward and kisses me on the cheek, and behind his back pulls out a bouquet of roses and says Happy Mother's Day. That made me so happy, I could barely see to walk up the steps for the tears were running down my face. I swear if he ever meets a girl and falls in love with her, she's going to be one lucky lady for sure. He calls me his second Mom, cause I always make sure he's ok and has eatten dinner. So, I put my bags down on couch, dig out the dish pan and go into kitchen where I had to put away groceries and do the dishes. Jim is standing in kitchen, big smile on his face and says Happy Mother's Day. I look at him and then I noticed something. This husband of mine cleaned the entire kitchen. He did all the dishes, counter, stovetop, table and even swept and mopped the floor. I showed him the dishpan, and we both started laughing. He even folded and put away the laundry he washed earlier. Wow!!!!!!!! So then he says, he and Joe have an idea. They want to cook me and Joe's Mom dinner tonight. I said, Oh, what's on the menu? He said Grill. I reached into grocery bags pulled out hotdogs, ground beef, buns and all. I said well cook this too. So, Jim pulled out our big grill from Joe's garage and he cooked steaks, hotdogs, hamburgers on the grill, while Joe cooked, corn on cob, baked beans, brocolli, and shrimp indoors and he fixed a salad too. Our plates were made by Jim and Joe, and sat in front of us. Wow, what a treat too. And it was all delicious. Mommom and I enjoyed our feast. Joe's brother's Mike and Anthony were there also. Uncle Mike was busy having a tickling match with Rebecca. They had a blast. I took a few pics. When I got home from shopping I found my gift from Emma in a cute little pink bag sitting on my desk. A beautiful plaque that reads, Thank you Mom, thank you for all you've done, for being so special and kind. You've helped me learn, grow and become who I am today. Happy Mother's Day

A very Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mom's, Grandmom's and new Mom's to be. I hope today is a very special day for you all and your treated like royalty today.

My youngest daughter Rebecca gave me a candle and a card last night. And my oldest daughter Emma said she'll be over today to see me. Later on I will post pics of my gifts. Last night I went on line and bought myself 2 outfits to wear on my trip to Pittsburgh coming up. And I got a pair of sandals too. Today I am going out by myself and buying my slippers. I'll have to post a pic of my old slippers along with the new ones, so you can see why I need them, lol. Jim is out this morning doing his weekly task. The laundry, lol. I hate going to the laundry mat. When I get a bigger place and can use my washer and dryer then I will do it. He just called me, man it was noisey in the background. Kids screaming, sounds like he was getting aggrivated. He wanted to know what was for dinner. If I wanted him to pick up something for dinner. Like I'm going to cook today!!!!!!!!!!!! I told him no, figure it out later. But do pick me up my diet pepsi, lol. I told him last night I would like to go out for dinner today, I guess he forgot. He's never been one for showing emotion or gestures, such as taking me out to dinner or buying me flowers or jewelry. I don't think he even knows how, lol. But he does little things that I appreciate, like taking out the trash, doing the laundry, keeping the car running in tip top shape, so I guess I can't complain. Well, I can, but I won't, lol.

I woke up at 8:am this morning, wow I over slept, lol. I think this darn headache woke me up. Took the tylenol, so it'll go away soon I hope. I was able to get caught up in journals this morning. I hate when I get behind in them, but sometimes I get so busy and they pile up, but I got through them all this morning.

Anyways, Happy Mother's Day to all you beautiful Mom's Grandmoms and Mom's to be.

Love to you all................................

Pics and Pics

Block party my butt!!!!!!!!!!! It was an excuse to block off entire street so she can have a party for her kid. I don't mind the party for her kid, but do you have to lie and say it's a block party? It's the same house where people are in and out of all times during the day and night, same house with a 52 inch TV in livingroom, same house that goes shopping twice a month when food stamps come out, same house where both mother and father don't leave for work. Hmmmmmm, makes me wonder. And she has a computer and makes up all the notices to move cars before 8:am cause street is blocked off. And each time there's a so called block party, it's one of her kids birthday's. And one of the songs played, very loudly I might add had the words, Come on bitch, come slap this monkey. Now this is a birthday party for a 4 yr old boy, about 30 kids out there and this song is playing? Paaaaaaaaleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is, there is some sick people in this world.

So, earlier, it got dark, a little windy. lightning and thunder but no fricking rain. When did it rain? It rained at 8:20pm, 10 minutes before the rope came down blocking the streets. I have decided I am going to learn how to do a rain dance, lol. People were stopping and yelling, Some block party, hahahahahahah, get real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways I had a nice visit with Daniel. Jim had taken Rebecca out with him, so it was just Daniel and I. I took him outside for a little walk, took a few pics, and as we were walking up to the gate at the ramp, Jim and Rebecca pulled up. I didn't get slippers, but I got a pretty card and a candle from Rebecca. Emma came over to get Daniel around 8:30pm and she showed me her mothers day present, Dan got her a diamond necklace, it is so beautiful. I'm a little jealous, I think. But I am happy for Emma. Dan really loves her alot. Tomorrow I will go and buy my own slippers. Maybe I'll buy myself a new nightgown too!! Guess I will go now. I have to go on line and order my outfit for this wedding reception we're going to in Pittsburgh on June 1, 2, 3. I got a magazine with 25% off sale, plus an additional 20.00 off coupon. With that savings I can afford to get shoes too. Heehee, why not, it is Mother's Day.

I told Jim he is taking me out to dinner tomorrow night, because this Mom is not cooking, is not cleaning, is not doing nothing except sleeping later if I can, and parking my big butt here at the computer, lol. So to all you ladies out there who are Mom's and Grandmom's, I hope you get spoiled tomorrow.

Love to all............................CINDY

Rebecca's choice on furniture

Rebecca has chosen her furniture for her bedroom. And may I add I think she has made a great choice too, lol. She chose it because she likes the bed, lol. And wants a top covering/canopy so it looks like she is under a tent she says. Kmart has this furniture, and it is on sale this week. So, monday I will be going to kmart and putting it all on layaway. I can pay on it every weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. I will do the bi-weekly one. Now all I need to do is move so she can have her own bedroom for all this furniture. I am having no luck at all in finding a house to rent. We may have to settle for an apartment complex. But I will want a first floor apartment with a patio, washer and dryer hook ups and a dishwasher, lots of closet space too. And I want it in a better area. Here is a couple pics of the furniture she wants for her room.

And this is a extra surprise for her I want to get.

I'd better go now. I want to get some things done, before Daniel gets here. Like sweep and mop my kitchen floor. Hope you all have a great weekend.

PS, nieghbors are up, outside yelling, sweeping sidewalk, knocking on peoples doors to move their cars, and guess what, it's only 1 house doing this. I'll take pics during the day, so you can see it all. Where's my Tylenol, I'm gonna need it today for sure, lol.

Love ya........................................CINDY
