Well, this is my 3rd attempt to make this entry, and if it doesn't work, then I'm giving up, lol. Our Easter was nice. Exhausting but nice. Kids had an egg hunt with plastic eggs full of jellybeans, and 2 eggs had money in them. My grandson Daniel found the egg with a 5.00 bill in it and my niece Kaylei found the egg with a 1.00 bill in it. I filled 48 eggs for them to find.

I guess the food was good, cause they ate it all, lol. I can't believe I cooked such a big meal as sick as I was. Well, yea maybe I can believe it, cause I've done it many a times. But hey as long as they enjoyed it, that's all that matters.

Would you believe I am alone right now. Yep, Jim and Joe and Rebecca went up to the mountains to check on the cabin. They'll be gone at least 5 to 7 hours, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, lol.

I am going to go up to the store, pick up bread and some milk, then come home and get to reading some of your journals. I have almost 400 of them. That's alot of reading.

I'm really glad Jim and Rebecca are gone for a few hours. I swear they were both getting on my last nerve this morning. I wanted to clobber both of them. I swear if they didn't go out for the day, I was.

Yesterday we picked up Marissa and Daniel and took them with us to the Castle Park. These kids love going there. It was Daniel's first time there so he was fasinated. They played for 3 1/2 hours, then they were getting tired, so we took them home. We'll take them back again in a couple weeks when it's warmer. It was windy yesterday which made it feel chilly.

Well, I guess I'd better get to the store and start my day or they'll be home again before I know it. Thanks for being so patient with me in getting to your journals. I have missed you all not hearing about you lately.

Aching muscles, sore joints, stuffed nose, sore throat, violent piss yourself coughing, pulling every muscle in stomach when you cough. Sneeze so much it feels like your brain is being blown out your ears. Chest so congested you feel as though a pile of  bricks is sitting on top of you. I went out and bought a vapor steam machine, it is helping.

Today I have to shop for easter dinner and start preparing it. Tomorrow is easter and monday it is back to school. Also, the past week I have not been able to sleep. Catching maybe an hour or two of sleep a night. Gonna be a long weekend  sure.

LOVE TO ALL AND HAVE A HAPPY EASTER.

Mornin

As you can see by the time in this entry my sleeping pattern is all screwed up again. I ran out of my sleeping pills so I haven't been sleeping very well. I'm getting more on sunday. Well, let's see. What have I been doing lately? Sunday I cleaned the bedroom, folded a ton of laundry, cleaned out Rebecca and I dresser drawers, organized our clothes. Yesterday I vacuumed the bedroom real good, then I steam cleaned the carpet. Wow what a difference. The carpet looks great. The water was so black it looked like mud. Then I did the hallway. Today I will  finish it up by doing the livingroom carpet. I am so glad I bought it, cause I really like how it cleans.

It's been raining here all night, and it's suppose to rain for a good part of the day. It's ok though, we can use the rain. I'm just glad it is rain and not snow or ice. Hopefully that kind of precipitation is over with, and the warmer weather moves in soon. I'm ready to open my windows and let the lovely scent of car fumes and tires burning into my apartment, lol. I live on a very busy intersection, so traffic is crazy at my corner.

Jim oredered Rebecca a set of Dr. Suess books, and they arrived yesterday. This child was so excited. She had to read to us. So after supper last night, Rebecca read the Green Eggs and Ham book to us. She did a great job at it too. She only asked what 2 words were, and they were could and where. We were so proud of her for reading that book to us. That shows us she is paying attention in school. Rebecca got her report card last week. And I am proud to say she is the top student in her class. Her report couldn't of been any better then it was. She got all S's. Her teacher said Rebecca is ready for 1st grade now. She is reading and doing math on a 1st grade level. I give that credit to Jim, and the fact she takes after her Daddy.

Four more days and it is Easter. These past month's have really gone by fast. The day after Easter, on March 24th is Jim and I's 29th year wedding anniversary. We were married March 24th, 1979. If I were given the chance to do it again I would. These 29 years with Jim have meant alot to me. Don't get me wrong, our life together hasn't been all a bed of roses. We went through alot of bad times, but we survived it and our marriage is stronger then ever. Trust, Love, Honesty and Respect and just a dash of old fashioned values, that's what has kept us going. Oh well, Easter sunday will be spent at my daughter Emma's where I will be doing the cooking. Our friend Rick is coming, and Dan's Mom I think. I hope it is a sunny day, because I want to let the lil ones hunt for eggs. Plastic eggs filled with treats and a lucky egg with money in it. Don't worry, there will be lots of pictures for sure.

Well, I guess I'd better get my butt up and go put on the coffee and get Jim some breakfast started, and pack his lunch. Turn on the news and see how many murders we've had in this city to date. There's never nothing happy on the news anymore. All said, hate, trouble, problems, sometimes I wonder why I even watch it.

Well, I hope you all have a good day today.

Love you all........................CINDY

Something Nice

Did you know that everyone has a special Bible verse for their birthday?

Check it out.

BirthVerse ::Scripture Verse for your Birthday.

A BIG THANK YOU TO NANCY FOR SENDING THIS TO ME.

Morning

Well, here it is. My Steam cleaner. I am so happy. I've always wanted one of my own, and I only paid 68.00 for it. I bought the shampoo for it and the spot remover also. My carpets really need to be cleaned. I usually rent a steamer, but by the time I pay for the steamer, shampoo, spot remover and attachments it is 60 bucks. And that big machine takes alot out of me to use. My steamer is lightweight, has a longer handle and easy to use. And I never have to pay to rent one again, wooohooo works for me.

Well, Jim is at the laundry mat. He left here at 7am, so he'll be home soon. Then I'll have to fold all those clothes and put them away.. Make the beds, dust off dressers, vacuum the floor then steam clean that room. Well, I had better get dressed, make breakfast and get my day started. I might come back later.

Love to all......................CINDY

Past couple days

Good Morning everyone. It's been a while since I made a real entry, so I thought I'd better make one. I hope everyone has been doing well. I also hope all of you who got all that nasty snow and ice are getting better weather now. I will be so happy when spring arrives. I'm totally over this winter weather.

Well, yesterday ended with the kids going on Spring Break for the next 9 days. WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I need a break, I am exhausted. We sent the kids home with a quart size bag full of candy (sugar) so they have lots of energy over the weekend for their parents, heehee. Hey, it's our way of paying them back when they send their kid out the door with a big donut and a bottle of Mountain Dew. Then they get in the class and have cereal full of sugar for breakfast. Talk about some hyper kids, whew. As I was leaving the class at the end of the day, Phylis (the teacher) handed me an envelope and said have a fun restful break and gave me a hug. I put the envelope in my purse and actually forgot about it for a bit. I took Marissa to school with Rebecca and I yesterday. She had so much fun, and did an awesome job with her school work. Marissa also had a bag of candy to take home, and I made one up for my lil Daniel also, heehee. I kept Marissa aka Typhoon Marissa overnight, so I was sure she would be ready in the morning to go. Well these 2 girls were so active. They literally trashed my livingroom and bedroom. I had them clean it up, but they didn't do it to my liking, so this weekend will be spent cleaning. I put the girls to bed at 8:30pm, well almost 11:pm and they are still awake. Arguing over cover's stuffed animals. Jim was getting so mad he was ready to take Marissa home. So I got off computer and let him get on it, I got Marissa and put her on couch with pillow and her blanket and stuffed animal and I sat on other end of couch. Well within 2 minutes they were both sound asleep. Finally some peace and quiet.

I bought Rebecca a cute white shirt with navy blue around the collar to wear with navy blue pants to school. I told her no hand painting for her while in that shirt. What did she do, hand painted. The shirt was bleached 3 times, and I even clorox gel penned it, and still the paint won't come out. So there was 8.99 spent for nothing. I was so mad.

Those blueberry pancake puffs are fabulous. Rebecca loved them. Jim said to save his, he's out replacing the brakes, bearings and drums on the front of our van. He said there'stoo much play in the tires, and it's better to take care of it now rather then later when it get's worse. It's nice being married to my own personal auto mechanic, saves me lots of money on labor, lol.

Pancake Puff       Here's the site for the pancake puff.

Now as for what was in that envelope I put in my pocketbook? Well, there was a card that said:
Dear Cindy,
I can't begin to express how grateful I am for your help. I don't want to even imagine not having you there. So stay in good health as we need you to take care of us. Have a great spring break and Happy Easter!
Love,
Phylis
And inside the card was a $100.00 bill. She did not have to do that. I wasn't expecting it. But I am happy that she thinks so highly of me and needs me in the classroom. Phylis and I have become very good friends. We have even made a promise to keep in touch after school lets out in June. We are planning on moving back to New Jersey, Delran/Riverside area, which is good because Phylis lives in Riverside and we can visit.
Now what am I going to do with the $100.00? I went on line earlier searching for a specific item and I found it. A Steamcleaner so I can do my own carpets for 99.00 at Walmart. Guess where I'm going when Jim's done working on the van? lol.
Well, Dan goes to see his back surgeon next friday. He will find out then if he can take that turtle shell off from around him. He is doing so well. He is even walking a little around the house with just a cane. I'm so proud of him.
Well, enjoy your weekend, and be safe.

Love to you all................................CINDY

lAST ONE, LOL

DELETING WHEN I AM DONE

SILLY

YES I AM STILL HAVING FUN WITH THIS SITE. LOL

Something to think about.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.  If it changes your life, let it.  Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Dan & Emma's night out.

Looks like AOHELL is at it again. I tried posting these pics separately and it wouldn't let me edit them, grrrrrrr. Anyways, last night Dan and Emma attended a Union Ball. They got all dressed up, and looked fabulous. Dan was worried he wouldn't be able to hide the turtle shell brace he has to wear for his back and ribs, but Emma worked her magic and Dan looked great. He had to take his crutches with him, because he can't stand more then a couple minutes at a time without them. They were able to dance to 2 very slow songs, which was so nice. Dan was able to see his co-workers and thank them for all that they have been doing for him.

I gave Emma my camera to take so she could get pics of the food. She only got 3 pics, but wow. One is of the fruit table. All fruits were handcut and carved, it looks beautiful. Another pic is of King Crab legs and a big kettle of melted butter. The last food picture is a beautiful ice sculpture of a ship sitting in the middle of a huge pile of steamed shrimp. Oh my I could stand in that spot near those shrimp all night, lol.

Then there's a pic of my granddaughter Adrianna who woke up just in time to greet mommy and daddy when they walked in the door. Emma and Dan had a nice evening out, which is something they haven't had in such a long time. Dan was tired when they got home, and his back was hurting. Emma helped him take off his suit and put on his pajamas and slippers. Then she gave him his pain medication. Rebecca went with me over to Emma's so I could babysit the kids. She spent the night over there, but I came home. I was not about to sleep on Emma's couch if I didn't have too, lol. I got home at 1:30, took a sleeping pill and crashed for 9 hours. Jim is out working on someone's computer. He'll pick up Rebecca on the way home. I am going to jump in the shower, get dressed and put away the clothes Jim washed and dryed this morning.

THINK SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I'm Bored lol

Being Silly

Two old men decide they are close to their last days and decide to have a last night on the town.  After a few drinks, they end up at the local brothel.

The Madam takes one look at the two old geezers and whispers to her manager, "Go up to the first two bedrooms and put an inflated doll in each bed.  These two are so old and drunk, I'm not wasting two of my girls on them.  They won't know the difference."

The manager does as he is told and the two old men go upstairs and take care of their business.

As they are walking home, the first man says, "You know, I think my girl was dead!"

"Dead?" says his friend.  "Why do you say that?"

"Well, she never moved or made a sound all the time I was loving her."

His friend says, "Could be worse.  I think mine was a witch!"

"A witch?!  Why the hell would you say that?"

"Well, I was making love to her, kissing her on the neck and I gave her a little bite.  Then she farted and flew out the window.  Took my teeth with her!"

This was sent to me by a dear friend named Mary. Who I met through POGO.

Rebecca and her violin

Good Morning!!!!!!!!! Yes, I know it's early, but I've had 6 hours sleep and I can't go back to sleep. So I decided to share a few pictures with you. I tried to get pictures of Rebecca at her first lesson, but we couldn't use flash and the pics are so bad you can't even see her. So we waited til later at home. I really hope she has fun learning to play the violin. She has the music in her like her daddy. Jim can play the guitar, harmonica and piano, and he is self taught. Rebecca see's him grab his guitar and she goes and gets hers too.

Sunday & Monday

Well, yesterday I said I was going to clean my kitchen and I did. It took me 3.5 hours. There was so much to wash and put away, and mop and scrub. By the time I was done I was exhausted.

And here's my rooster's my friend Rick gave me. I love them.

I love this pair. It's so tacky that it's cute, lol. After all that cleaning, I was not about to cook and dirty my clean kitchen, lol. So we ordered out.

Man that sucker was good, lol.

There's my baby girl having a snack and showing you all her kindergarten picture. I love that smile. Right now their both sleeping. Rebecca is curled up in her blankets sound asleep and Jim is on the couch snoring like a giant grizzly bear.

See these? They are single serving cereal bowls the kindergarten students get for breakfast. Most of the kids don't want to eat. So each friday after school I clean out the refrigerator and bring these home. Most weeks there's about 50 or 60 of them, plus lots of cartons of milk and juices. Since I don't get a salary working there, the teacher gives me all the cereals, milk and juices. I have not bought cereal in month's. I split them with Emma. They are perfect portions sizes for the kids. Right now I have about 175 of these in my cabinet. Emma has alot also. Oh plus theirs at least 50 packs of graham crackers every week also. Each packet has 2 crackers in it. I'm thinking if I get overwhelmed in cereals and graham crackers maybe I could donate them to a food pantry or something. Do you think they'd take them?

Well, earlier tonight Jim had to go downstairs to Joe's and get my heating pad. My legs hurt so bad I could barely walk. Itfelt as though they were being beaten with a sledge hammer. So I crawled into my bed, put the heating pad on high, layed them over my legs, covered up and layed there about 30 minutes. They felt so much better afterwards. I think I over did it with the scrubbing I did yesterday in my kitchen.

I am exhausted right now. I think I will go get my nightgown on, and then go to bed. Big day tomorrow. Rebecca has her first violin lesson tomorrow in school and I have to be there. And yes, I am taking my camera for sure.

Good night everyone.

Love you all..........................Cindy

Our Saturday

Yesterday was a nice day. Instead of staying home, we went to an old friend of ours house. His name is Rick and he is my hairdresser and has been since 1995. Rick lives in New Jersey in a senior citizen high rise building. He has an adorable 1 bedroom apartment. He is on the 7th floor, so we have to take an elevator up there. I love how he has it decorated. This man has oriental, american indian, egyption decor all over his house. He collected roosters too and when I told him that I collect them he gave me a bunch of roosters. I will take a picture of them all later and show you. While we were there, Jim fixed Rick's computer. He had to reformat it, and install some things. It works great now. Then we went to dinner at a restaurant ran by Greeks called the Magnolia Diner. I love their cooking. I had the roasted turkey platter, with apple stuffing, mashed taters and green beans and a salad. I loved it. And I ate every bit of it. Rebecca had french fries, chicken tenders, buttered cheese bread, and she ate some of my green beans. Jim and Rick had these huge burgers called California Burger. They came with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, coleslaw, mayo and a side of french fries. My dinner came with desert, so I gave it to Rebecca. She chose mint chocolate chip icecream. My drink was unsweetened iced tea with I added 2 packs of splenda to it. I have learned to really like that splenda. Anyways here is some pics of yesterday. Jim and Rebecca are at the park. It is sunny and 48 today, so they dressed warm and drove up to the park for an hour or so. I have alot of cleaning to do, so I am going to get dressed finally. Yes it is almost 3pm and I am still in my pajamas, lol. But I went to bed last night at 10pm and I didn't wake up until 10:15 this morning. And the amazing thing was I took nothing to help me sleep. I guess my body finally said enough was enough and I crashed completely. I did wake up with a slight headache though. I always do when I over sleep. I'll be back later tonight with more pics. I do need to get dressed and get this place cleaned up. It is awful. Hmmm, should I take before and after pics?

Love ya all........................CINDY
