  7. I'm so sorry. I hate that for him. Gas is $3.95 in my town. Two days ago the news lady said gas would reach $5 this summer easy, then last night they said it'll probably be $7 instead. I think we're all gonna start walking this summer and stay close. I need to find a job, but heck I'll have to find one I can walk to with prices like that.
I can't remember if you visited my journal, but IF not stop by and look because I added videos and pictures you might have to go back a ways. The last entry was little kid videos from Jack Be Nimble.
Hope you all have a safe Memorial Weekend.
    Take care and Hugs, Chrissie

  9. Now what?  It seems like if it's not one thing it's another.  I'm so sorry to hear about this.  Hope he gets his unemployment started and receives it very, very soon.  I know he's worried too.  Sometimes you have to delete and start all over with the alerts.  Just too many.

I hope and pray things get better for all of you,  You've been such a sweetheart of a GF to me, so supportive and you all do not deserve for this to happen.

    Love and hugs to you,

  12. oh cindy....I am sooo sorry.  They say everything happens for a reason...but sometimes I can NOT figure out what the HECK that reason is.....I guess with gas prices soaring there will be alot of layoffs. Gas here in Texas is 3.65.....it will probably be over 4 dollars by this weekend,....I say we all just say screw it and get together and make a huge garden and just take care of each other.  Hugs and prayers from Texas my sweet and dear friend. xoxBarb

  13. Oh my dear Cindy..when oh when is it going to end for you.all...I send my most hearfelt sorrow to you and Jim.  There are so many folks being laid off I see from various journals...Everything seemd to be going haywire at the moment and the biggest worry is that NOBDODY but Nobody seems to be able to do anything about it...where oh where are our leaders... in both our countries.  Ah well I suppose we should count what blessings we have lovely famlies and friends and that means a lot..when we think of these poor folks in China and Burmah we are indeed rich inded.   Love for now   Sybil. xxx

  20. I'm so sorry Cindy. I know this is a hard time. Hang in there. The Unemployment place will help him find work. Plus, even if he works part time, they'll still help him financially. At least they do here.
    Love you,
    Pam

  21. Everything happens for a reason, I believe that. Something better is out there.
Let the unemplyoment people help, there are workshops and classes he can take there, the more he does with them the better. I know I've been there. They are there to help , let them ! Also, they provide medical insurance for your daughter , look into that.
    Take Care

  25. I'm so sorry to hear about Jim losing his job.  Our economy is really bad now, and we wonder when it will start to get better.  My husband drives an 18-wheeler for a trucking company and their gas prices already is $4.59.  It's really hurting the trucking business.  I don't know what we will all do if the truckers stop driving due to the high prices.  I will keep Jim and all of you in my prayers.  Let's all pray for our country.
    Many hugs for you,
          Pat
