The doctor called me yesterday with results of my blood work. My cholesterol level is higher then it was 2 years ago, and my triglycerides are up. He gave me a prescription for a generic form of Zocor. It will lower both hopefully, at least thats what it says it will do. He's gonna check my blood work again in a month.
Today I went and had my ultrasound done of my heart. All she would tell me was there's no fluid build up and nothing is leaking and my doctor will have a complete report by friday. Which is good because I have an appointment with him on friday. Then the 16th I go and have an EKG. On the 17th Emma and I are going to the cemetary to visit her son/my grandsons grave. He would of been 10 years old had he lived. God had other plans for him though and called our lil Michael back to heaven. He never got to take a breathe of air outside Emma's womb, but when I held that 9lb 5oz baby boy in my arms looked into his face and kissed his cheeks, my heart melted with love for that precious baby and to this day I couldn't love him anymore then I already do. May he always rest in peace in God's loving arms.
Well, I am going to go and take a shower now. Then take the generic zocor pill and go to bed. It says it can cause drowziness. Well let me tell you, it sure does. It knocked me out and I didn't get up until 8am this morning, and the girls had to be at school at 8:24. Guess what? They got there at 8:22, lol. I think I broke my own record, lol. Well, I'd better go now and get my shower. Have a great evening and week.

Something to think about
There comes a point in your life when you realize
who matters,
who never did,
who won't anymore...
and who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
'Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.' A sharp tongue can cut my own throat. If I want my dreams to come true, I mustn't oversleep. Of all the things I wear, my expression is the most important.
The best vitamin for making friends..... B1. The happiness of my life depends on the quality of my thoughts. The heaviest thing I can carry is a grudge. One thing I can give and still keep...is my word. If I lack the courage to start, I have already finished. One thing I can't recycle is wasted time. Ideas won't work unless ' I ' do. My mind is like a parachute...it functions only when open. The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice. The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too late to become what I might have been. Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right.. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Doctor, snow, pervert
Just thought I'd drop in a while, say hello to you all and let you know what has been happening. I went to the doctor's on friday. I was there almost 2 hours. Got weighed (gained) had blood pressure check, 110/88, bottom number too high for dentist to pull teeth. He wants bottom number under 80, grrrrrr. Lots of tubes of blood taken, doctor took the blood himself instead of getting nurse to do it. He gave me a prescription for the Lexapro that I have been taking, plus a prescription for Lazic which I take 1 a day along with a big glass of orange juice. I go back on Dec 9th for an EKG, the on 12th for an ultra sound of my heart, and on the 16th for a nerve test. And I am scheduled to go into the hospital for a pet scan to check and see if cancer is back and for the swelling on right side of my head. Also have to go and have a mammogram and pap smear next month. I told him about my shortness of breath and he listened to my lungs and said they sound great. That was good to hear. So hopefully within the next few weeks we find out what is going on in my body.
It is snowing here right now. Suppose to get about an inch. That's too much for me, lol. Hate snow, I really do. I'd rather live on a tropical island where it's warm during the day and cool at night so I could sleep, lol.
Dan and Emma took the kids (Rebecca,Marissa,Daniel) out today to a heated tents flea market. Well Dan had to go report a pervert. This man kept staring at Rebecca and Marissa, following them everywhere, just staring, and then showing his teeth and snapping with his mouth at them. The cop said they got another report from someone about the same man, but until he physically touch or grabbed onne of the girls they couldn't do anything to the man. My Emma wanted to use her karate on the guy, lol. Sick people in this world.
Jim and I went christmas shopping at Big Lots. Man I love that store. We spent 175.00, but I am now almost done. I just need something for Dan and Emma, Rebecca wants socks, lol and I have to get Adrianna a carseat. She's outgrowing her baby one, sniff, sniff. We took Adrianna shopping with us. Of course her poppop got her an Elmo guitar, and she loves it.
I've been doing my christmas cards today, for those of you I have an address for. If you've never sent me your address and want to exchange cards with me email me at emabecmar@aol.com
I've been trying to get to all your journals. There's so many I have lost touch with since aohell booted us all out of jland. Couldn't they of waited until after the holidays, jeez. Well, it's going on 11:30 and I am tired. Before I forget, thank you Missie for the lovely card I received in mail. Yours will be in post office monday morning when I go check the mail. Also I wanted to ask you all a favor. Dan, my sil says he gets no good email. Could you if you have the time email him once in a while even just to say hi, or send him a funny joke or something and make him happy. Thank you so much if you can.
I'd better go. Take care, enjoy the rest of your weekend.
May God bless each and every one of you.

My Thanksgiving
I'm getting pretty bad in keeping up here and with other's blogs and I am so very sorry about that. It seems like something is always going on and I can't get to the computer. Anyways, I will try to get caught up this week, when the girls go back to school.
My thanksgiving was nice. Just a small family dinner with Dan's mom attending. None of his brother's wanted to come. But we had a big dinner. I fixed a 20lb turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked yams, green beans, cranberry sauce, coleslaw, and we had pumpkin pie with cool whip afterwards. I was so tired after dinner, I put the kids to bed and layed down myself at 8pm. I woke up at 2am and stayed up til 6:30am. Emma and I were going to go shopping at 4am, but she looked so peaceful sleeping, I didn't wake her. Instead we went shopping at noon at Target. My gosh was is crowded. Emma and I sat and had lunch first. We hadn't eatten and I was pretty hungry. So for 5.49 each we got a combo of 20oz drink, personnel pan pizza and 3 breadsticks with dipping sauce from the pizza hut there. I must say it was excellent too. So afterwards we start shopping. I bought Rebecca a Barbie VTech Laptop, scooter, giant horse and a huge doll that goes with it. She still wants barbies and socks. I read her letter to santa, lol. She asked for socks, lol. I'll get her all kinds of colors in them. So, I'm shopping away, and all of a sudden I hear a bunch of yelling and people are running. Then I hear my daughter Emma yelling......Mom. So I turn towards her and she is yelling stay there mom, don't move, and she comes over to me. She said there was a fight in the stuffed toy isle. Two women were beating each other up with their purses and throwing each other down, one of the women was bleeding. What were they fighting about? ELMO!!!!!!!!!!! One of the women wouldn't move so the other could get the doll and someone grabbed it. Needless to say no one got to keep their shopping carts of purchases they wanted to make, because both women were escorted out of the store. Emma and I finished our shopping and left.
Well, dinner is just about ready, but the coffee is done now, so in I go to get me a cup before Emma says it's ready. Take care, enjoy your week.

Gotta love this one, lol
EXERCISE FOR PEOPLE OVER 40> Begin by standing on a comfortable surface where you haveplenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb. potato sack in eachhand, extend your arms straight out from your sides, and holdthem there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, andthen relax. Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just abit longer. After a couple weeks, move up to 10-lb. potato sacks. Then try 50-lb.potato sacks. Then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb. potato sack in each hand, and hold your arms straight for
morethan a full minute. (I'm at this level.) After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of thesacks.

Life goes on

It's been almost 2 weeks since I wrote here? I'd better get you all updated huh. Well, let's see. Dan spent 8 days in the hospital, and let me tell you those 8 days were so worth it. He is so much better. He found out all his pain and suicidal thoughts were caused from the medication he is on. They switched his doses, gave him stronger pain meds and he is a new man. He still is in pain, but instead of pain level being a 10, it's down to a 2, which is great. He now takes 20mg oxycodone 4 to 6 times a day, and a morphine pill 4 to 6 times a day. He can't lift, run, jog or anything like that, but he walks better. The kids are so glad he is home, especially Daniel. He had a hard time the first few days adjusting to not having his daddy tuck him in at night. So, it was mommom to the rescue. I printed out a pic of Dan, taped it next to Daniel's bed and every night he'd kiss daddy's picture and say I love you daddy, sweet dreams. I swear that lil boy melts my heart. We have nasty colds going around now. Marissa had one last week, and missed a day of school due to it, now this week the baby has got herself a real doozey of a cold and I think Emma is coming down with a cold now too. The baby and Emma are both sleeping right now. Jim and Dan are out to breakfast along with the girls and Daniel. It is daddy daughter day on sundays. Rebecca wanted Daniel to go too, so the 5 of them are at the Clown House having breakfast. I love that place. You order a big breakfast for $5.95 and you get 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, fried potatoes, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 slices of toast, glass orange juice and coffee. One of thos big breakfast will feed all 3 of the kids.
Well, the lady who hit my van is already driving around with her van fixed. Where's my van? In the shop still. Why? Cause we're waiting for her insurance company to issue the check for 1189.00 to the body shop so I can go pick up my van. It has been done for a week now. I have called and called GEICO to see what the hold up is and all I get is someones voice mail. Tomorrow the bodyshop is calling them. All I know is I better get my van back real soon, because now I'm starting to get upset.
The girls got their school pics back, and might I say they are so cute. I will scan them so I can show them to you later today. Emma doesn't get Marissa's pics done in school uniform, but I do. I want to see the uniform styles as each year passes. I've had to have Dan's mom fix Rebecca's uniforms. Her's were so big on her now that she's lost so much weight. She was 73 lbs now she is 61 lbs. She lost it because she isn't cooped up in a tiny apartment anymore. Here she has lots of room to run and play and their isn't a dozen or more snacks a day cause she was eatting out of boredom. I want to watch her now though. I don't want her losing anymore weight. Well, I now have all my health insurance cards, so tomorrow is the big day of making appointments. I always forget some of my symptoms when I get into doctor's office, so this time I wrote them all down, all 18 of the things that I have noticed wrong lately. Yes, 18 things wrong, that is not a good thing and I will be yelled at by all of my doctor's. The only part I hate about going is having to get the blood work done. Ever since the chemo my veins actually hurt and I do mean hurt. They collasp, explode. The only good vein is deep in the elbow bend of my right arm and man does it hurt when they try to get that needle in there to get blood. Well the family is back, so I'd better go. Hope everyone has a great holiday next week.

MY SIL
I come here tonight worried. Yesterday my SIL was admitted into a mental hospital. Dan has not been himself since the fall last December and lately his mental health has gotten worse. He was talking suicide, and says the walls are bleeding, that blood is pouring down the walls. My Emma had no other choice but to call their lawyer and together with the doctor they had Dan admitted. He is in there under suicide watch. Emma knows one of Dan's older brothers (Howard) hung himself, so she wants to make sure Dan doesn't try anything. I have been praying about this since yesterday. Could you please send up a prayer or good thought for Dan. I haven't had much sleep the past week, so I am pretty tired. I promise to get to your blogs as soon as I can.
