Good Morning

Good Morning my dear friends/family here in Jland. I'm going to have a busy day today, so I thought I would try and get an entry in before I get ready to leave. On my list today is the post office, my doctor's office to get a form filled out for social services, pharmacy for some Robitussin and Mucinex, then to grocery store. I will be doing all this walking. I am going to put Rebecca in the stroller and push her so I have something to hold onto to walk with and to help carry the items I have to pick up. It's going to be a long day.

Thanksgiving is coming up soon. We will be going to my daughter Emma's for dinner that day. I will be there doing the cooking. Making both a ham and a turkey that day, and all the fixings for both, plus pies and cobbler's. I love peach cobbler and apple crumb cobbler during the thanksgiving and christmas holidays. And top it off with some vanilla bean icecream and it is just fabulous. The kids love it.

Well, in case some didn't get the posting I made from Angie on her Giving Tree journal, I want to post it here. Angie is having problems due to technical difficulty and she is hoping to have her computer up and running no later then monday. For those who have a request for a need of help or have something they wish to donate to on the Giving Tree please continue to email Angie at  and she will get back to you as soon as she is back up and running again monday.

I had better go now. I need to fix Rebecca some breakfast and get us both dressed. Then we will be out the door to run our errands. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

  1. You are having a busy day. I hope the weather is good today since you'll be out walking. Thanksgiving sounds wonderful, we do turkey and ham also.
    Take care, Chrissie

  2. Hope your day isn't too much for you. Rest when you can. {{ }}
    Have a good weekend.

  3. I hope you have a good day and it's not too wearing on you.  If you get tired from walking I hope you rest.  Give Rebecca a kiss for me.

  4. Dear Cindy,

    I hope while you and Rebecca are walking you stay warm. The weather here in Missouri is starting to get cold. May you and your sweet family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. It's been a few months since my Mom died. This Thanksgiving will be a bit solemn, but I have so many blessings to be thankful for. I have a favor to ask. May I have the recipe for cobbler? I am wondering if the measurement would be about the same just with different fruit. May God bless you and your family.

    In Christ,
