Mornin

As you can see by the time in this entry my sleeping pattern is all screwed up again. I ran out of my sleeping pills so I haven't been sleeping very well. I'm getting more on sunday. Well, let's see. What have I been doing lately? Sunday I cleaned the bedroom, folded a ton of laundry, cleaned out Rebecca and I dresser drawers, organized our clothes. Yesterday I vacuumed the bedroom real good, then I steam cleaned the carpet. Wow what a difference. The carpet looks great. The water was so black it looked like mud. Then I did the hallway. Today I will  finish it up by doing the livingroom carpet. I am so glad I bought it, cause I really like how it cleans.

It's been raining here all night, and it's suppose to rain for a good part of the day. It's ok though, we can use the rain. I'm just glad it is rain and not snow or ice. Hopefully that kind of precipitation is over with, and the warmer weather moves in soon. I'm ready to open my windows and let the lovely scent of car fumes and tires burning into my apartment, lol. I live on a very busy intersection, so traffic is crazy at my corner.

Jim oredered Rebecca a set of Dr. Suess books, and they arrived yesterday. This child was so excited. She had to read to us. So after supper last night, Rebecca read the Green Eggs and Ham book to us. She did a great job at it too. She only asked what 2 words were, and they were could and where. We were so proud of her for reading that book to us. That shows us she is paying attention in school. Rebecca got her report card last week. And I am proud to say she is the top student in her class. Her report couldn't of been any better then it was. She got all S's. Her teacher said Rebecca is ready for 1st grade now. She is reading and doing math on a 1st grade level. I give that credit to Jim, and the fact she takes after her Daddy.

Four more days and it is Easter. These past month's have really gone by fast. The day after Easter, on March 24th is Jim and I's 29th year wedding anniversary. We were married March 24th, 1979. If I were given the chance to do it again I would. These 29 years with Jim have meant alot to me. Don't get me wrong, our life together hasn't been all a bed of roses. We went through alot of bad times, but we survived it and our marriage is stronger then ever. Trust, Love, Honesty and Respect and just a dash of old fashioned values, that's what has kept us going. Oh well, Easter sunday will be spent at my daughter Emma's where I will be doing the cooking. Our friend Rick is coming, and Dan's Mom I think. I hope it is a sunny day, because I want to let the lil ones hunt for eggs. Plastic eggs filled with treats and a lucky egg with money in it. Don't worry, there will be lots of pictures for sure.

Well, I guess I'd better get my butt up and go put on the coffee and get Jim some breakfast started, and pack his lunch. Turn on the news and see how many murders we've had in this city to date. There's never nothing happy on the news anymore. All said, hate, trouble, problems, sometimes I wonder why I even watch it.

Well, I hope you all have a good day today.

Love you all........................CINDY

  19. Rebecca is doing so well to read her Dr. Seuss books.  I am sorry you have been ill with bronchial pneumonia.  It is going to take a while for everyone in the household to get back to normal after such a year.  Gerry
