SATURDAY

I am so glad it is saturday. This past week has been very tiring. I have been going to bed before 10pm. Some nights by 9:30, and that just isn't me. I am never in bed before midnight. But my body is tired and it needed sleep. All week long I have been on the go. Running errands, babysitting, cleaning, cooking, back and forth to school with Rebecca. I've had no time for myself at all. The menopause symptoms have been kicking my butt all week with major hot flashes, night sweats. There was moments I just wanted to run away. It was where's this, when's that, do this do that, I wanted to scream and hide. Yesterday while at the pharmacy I checked my blood pressure. 190/110, so back on the meds I went. I also took a Stress Tab too. I feel very calm today.

Jim did alot of cleaning today. He cleaned up the kitchen, did the dishes and mopped the floor. He also cleaned all the fans, took out the trash and later he is going to the laundry mat. Tomorrow we are picking up Marissa and Daniel and taking them to a playground that looks like a castle and has a huge sand box and letting them play. Then we're taking them to lunch. I'll take lots of pictures to share with you all.

My son in law went to the doctor's. He was really hurting and feeling very run down. The doctor said Dan has every symptom of LYME Disease, and ordered blood work. He finds out the results this up coming week. He gave Dan pain killers and antibiotics to take until then. Dan thinks a tick bit him on the ankle when he was in New Jersey at a BBQ.

We are now up to 307 murders in the city of Philadelphia. Sickening isn't it? City of brotherly love. Yea right, so why they killing each other. A 4yr old child was shot and killed just 3 blocks from my house by a drive by shooting. How sad, we can't even let our children play outdoors without fear of them being kidnapped or killed.

Well, that's about it. I am being rushed. I have to go to the store for dinner fixings. And I really don't feel like it. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Love to all............................

  2. Your pictures were great. Looks like the little one sleeps a lot. That is so bad and sad when a drive by shooting takes a child's life. I would be afraid to go outside living there. But that is going on in a lot of places now. Just downright evilness. Helen

  10. You sound like me with the blood pressure. My has gotten higher. My meds were out and had to wait to reorder.
Hope you find time to rest. You're gonna have to take a break for yourself while Rebecca is at school. Do she sleep better now that she's in school? That was the only thing that helped my daughter. They wore her out all day and then sent her home.
Glad Jim helped out a lot around the house. I'll be glad when you all are somewhere you can have a washer and dryer. I hated always packing my clothes everywhere. I have a washer, but no dryer. So if there are things I have to dry I send them over to KTs. John promises to get me a new washer and dryer before this is all over with.
Sorry about Dan. I sure hope it comes back something else.
That's awful with all those murders. You guys need to move badly. I wouldn't be able to live there. That's one of the reasons I'm torn between going back to my hometown. There's so many different people there now and it's not the same. They have a lot of gangs and honestly I don't want my grandson raised that way. I am thankful that my kids want to move where ever I go, but I don't want to move to a bad place.
    Take care, Chrissie

  11. those supermarket blood pressure machines are known to be messed up and way to high.  when you can, try to invest in your own. you will get far more accurate readings.
however, it sounds as though you know by how you are feeling when it is high.  that is good.
Okay, you took a sress tab..is that a precription tab or is there a brand available OTC? I need one!!!! lol

    take care, sweetie!

  14. I'm worried about you now and I want you to be careful and take care of yourself.  Your family needs you and so do we.  The murder rate is very alarming to me.  We are so close to Atlanta, one of the highest crime rates in the country.  GANGS are everywhere.  I've had such a very busy week and I'm completely exhausted.  My entire body hurts.  Come Monday I can rest.
    Hugs GF!

  15. Cindy, I'm glad that you are taking the time to go to bed and sleep when your body is telling you that it's tired.  Don't fight it.  You are just run down and stressed out, and that alone with do it to you.
As for menopause.  I went through an early one (I was 42), and couldn't take any HRT meds because of the Cancer that I had.  I had to suffer through all those hot flashes and mood swings.  Fortunately for me, they weren't that bad.  I didn't like the hot flashes or night sweats, but I could tolerate them.  I don't think my moodiness was all that bad, but then, you might have to ask my kids about that one! lol

Feel better..  take care of youself!

Rebecca looks darling in her school outfit, and the baby is precious!  In all your kids are gorgeous!  Congrats again, mommom!  :)

  21. I was just had my yearly physical, and the doctor told me to come back when my family couldn't stand me no more, lol.  He thinks I'm early stage menopause.  I do have hot flashes, but not often.  I find I have them moreso when I eat red meat for some reason.  I'm thinking of going online and trying to find a book on it - because I really do not want to take meds (HRTs) and would rather go the natural route.  Hang in there!  Hope you are feeling more rested!  Baby girl looks so cute!  Love the shoes, lol.  She is spiffy!

  26. Aw.......Adrianna is so cute.  I love #13 & #18 pics.  LOL  She sure sleeps alot.  ANd in the one pic, she is holding her hand up saying no more pics.  LOL  Do you think you can send Jim my way?  These two men here don't do anything except cook, wash the dishes and vacuum.  They never mop or clean the fans.  My floors haven't been mopped for 2.5 weeks and it's driving me crazy!  LOL

  27. Wonderful pictures Cindy.  Love the little shoes. she is looking so grown up and wise and Daniel and Adriana are looking really sweet.  Thats terrible about the little one being shot, so tragic.  It must be very frightening to live there.  We had a shooting in this area about 3 years ago but it is a very unusual event to happen and that was the only one I have heard about in the 20 or so years I have been here.  Blood pressure up means Cindy must rest more .... Take care sweetie.  Hugs, Tells x
