  6. There is something on the market now that I buy at our local grocery store and it's called SMART WATER.  It has electrolytes in it and I swear the first time I ever drank it, I felt like I had so much energy after that.  I sweat and get weak and just fall and stumble around when I don't get to eat on time and Dirk just happened upon it.

And HALLELUIAH that she's alright!  Prayers heard and answered on her behalf.

Hug her for alot of J Landers.

  20. So glad Joe's mum is doing so well, she has a lot of love surounding her so she will soon be her old self again.  I was interested in your receipe for scrapple I must say I have never heard of it before.  We have here in the U.K. a meat loaf similer called "Brawn". It is made from a pig head boiled until all the meat can be removed. Keep the liquor to cool.  Mince all the meat in a large bowl and add onions, minced. dried sage and pepper. and salt according to taste.  Remove the surface of fat from cool liquor and pass through a sieve to remove any bones. Replace the liquid in a boiler and add the meat and simmer for about 15 minutes.  Fill the basins with mixture and leave until cold. When turn out it looks like a lovely glossy jelly and tasted delicious with an apple sauce.
you can cut it up and have it for sandwiches.  Of course not many people make things nowadays from a pigs head. I remember this as a child. Please take care Kathie.
