A quick note

Rebecca and I are both feeling yucky today, so we're playing hooky from school, lol. Actually we both have a stomach ache. Jim had a stomach virus last week, so I think maybe we caught it from him, grrrrrrr.

The insurance for Rebecca will become effective December 1st. I am so happy about that. It took a big load off my mind for sure. I told her I have no insurance either, and she gave me a toll free number for a place called ADULT BASIC. They provide insurance for adults who have no coverage and can't afford their own private insurance. I will be calling them today for an application.

It's raining here today and suppose to go up to 62 degree's.

Joe was able to speak to his Mom's heart doctor yesterday. He recommends Mommom I have a pacemaker put in. So tomorrow morning she is being admitted into the hospital for surgery and getting a pacemaker. Please say a prayer for her ok? Joe talked to his boss and told him he needs to be available for his mom. The boss said since work is slow right now, Joe can have the next 4 to 5 weeks off and can collect unemployment for those weeks. Joe is happy about that. He can be home with his mother and make sure she eats and drinks properly and goes to her doctor visits. She'll be 100% in no time with Joe taking care of her.

Well, that's about it for now. I am going to lay on the couch for a while. Then get dressed and try and do some housework. Hope you all have a great day.

One more thing. Were alerts working yesterday? I put lots of pics in yesterdays entry.

Love you all.....................CINDY

ps. Getting my christmas card list ready. If anyone wants a card from me, email me your address please. And if you want to send a card let me know and I will give you my address.

That was nice of Joe's boss to let him have that time off to be with his mom. It is so nice when an employer can work with you.

  7. Hi Cindy,
I do hope you guys feel better soon. I know this is the season and everyone is sick. I'm so happy you will have insurance now. Especially with your history of CA. It's very important. I've been worried about you regarding that.
Glad Joe's Mom will be ok. A Pacemaker insertion is an easy procedure really. I have assisted with those in the Cardiac Cath Lab. She'll be ok. And she'll no doubt feel better after it's in. Will keep her in my prayers.
    Love ya...MUCH!

  18. I never got your previous alert. Cute pictures. The wig is pretty funny!
I pray Mommom does well with that procedure. Is Joe being laid off in order to collect unemployment? I thought that was the only way to get it.
So glad Rebecca has her insurance now. That's must be a relief.
