  5. I should have thought of that!!! I had a backed up Kidney Infection when I was pregnant and had a lot of leakage when I had to put up with stents being inside me. Oh, what a RELIEF!!! I am so happy she and the baby are okay!!!!!!!! BUT...kidney infections can be misrable/ or UTI Infections.

  6. WOW what a relief!! Didn't she have symptoms?? Burning or discomfort?? Bladder infections are common in pregnancy 'cause the baby pushes on the bladder and urine can stay trapped in the bladder. She's GOT to drink lots of water and go potty a LOT!!
What a relief...damn you had me worried.
    love you,
    Pam

  8. Hi Cindy. I have just been catching up on your journal, and was very distressed to read about your Emma's condition and now relieved to see that  she is O.K. THANK GOD. There is so much worry when you have already lost a child, Its every mums worse nightmare.  You are such a wonderful mother and wife and your continuing support for your family is quite overwhelming.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Rebecca is such a delightful child, loved all her art work. Please take take. Kathie.

I am so relieved to hear Emma and your soon-to-be grandchild are doing well and that she had not gone into labor.  I will be sure to add her to my prayers over the next few weeks.  We have quite a few Jland pals in common but I had never stopped over by your journal until today.  I've added you to my alerts and look forward to getting to know you.  Leene

  29. I'm glad she is doing better.  I know that feeling, I had bi-lateral kidney stones and spent the last 40 days of my pregnancy in the hospital.  It's hard to be in so much pain when you just want to run around and get things done before the baby makes its big arrival.
I wish y'all the best of luck and am sending prayers your way for an uneventful rest of the pregnancy.

  30. I was sent over by Sugar, am rejoicing with you that this is not premature labor.  Water, water, and more water for this problem should help along with the antibiotics.  I will be praying for Emma and for the baby and for you too.
    loving you

  35. Such a relief it's not a pregnancy issue!  I've had a UTI myself and the pain is incredible, beyond description.  Easy to see how Emma became worried, as would anyone.  A very good AB for this is CIPRO, and all the water she can take, then even more.  They should also be careful about prescribing medication for bladder comfort, to ease the muscle cramps, as she's expecting.  But you'll see, once the infection works its way out of her system she'll be just fine.  Prayers just the same for a happy, joyous and uneventful normal pregnancy!  CATHY

  38. I've had MANY UTI's, including one early in my pregnancy with  Jacob (7 yrs ago) and yes they're painful. I was wondering if it wasn't urine she was leaking vs amniotic fluid, it's pretty common. At 30 weeks it'd be pretty early for the baby's lungs to be fully developed too so it's definately very good that the baby is not coming yet.

    God Bless

  47. I'm so happy she's and the baby is ok.  Weird how other conditions mimic others.  Drinking cranberry juice or taking cranberry supplements by the vitamin aisle is good with these infections.  Hope she feels better real soon.
