Busy, busy and busy

PrincessWell, tomorrow is the big day. I am so excited. My baby is getting married, and to a man I approve of this time, lol. First husband was a real freak of nature. A BIG LOSER HE WAS AND STILL IS!!!!!!!!!!! Remember that giant baby chicken on cartoons called BABY HUEY? Well, that's how I always thought of him, lol. I hated that cartoon.

Well, I've been very busy tonight. I made the veil to go with Emma's dress. My hot glue gun got a major workout tonight. A hair comb, a yard of material for veil and a few white silk flowers centered with a tiny pearl on each and it turned out beautiful. I also made the brides bouquet, maid of honors, and the two flower girls a bouquet. Then I baked the wedding cake. I iced it with fluffy white iciing, put green silk leaves in 2 of the corners made red flowers with iciing, added some white silk flowers centered with pearls, and it turned out very nice. Emma wants to use the bride and groom cake piece I had on my wedding cake 28yrs ago. She said Mom, that could be as the something old. The something new is the pearl necklace and pearl earrings I bought her today. And the something borrowed and something blue, is a beautiful blue cross my best friend and future sister in law Nancy sent me. Thanks Sissy!!!!!!!!! I will get pictures of everything, and have them posted in the near future, I promise. And if I can't do it, I'll mail the pics to someone who can, lol. I don't have a scanner, yet, grrrrrr. Well, big day tomorrow, and oh yea before I forget. They are going away this upcoming weekend for their honeymoon. They have chosen Atlantic City, New Jersey. Emma was born in Atlantic City Hospital in 1980, during a bad snow storm, blizzard I should say. I will be staying at their place with their 2 kids and Rebecca while they are gone. Their leaving friday night, and returning sunday afternoon. Wish me luck, all weekend with 3 kids, yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL I'll tell you all about the wedding tomorrow night. Night everyone. ((((Hugs))))
