A couple of announcements

Thunder  Good Morning Everyone!!! I hope all those in the path of all those storms here on the east coast, survived them with no damage last night and into the early morning. We got our first storm at 8:pm, last about 10 minutes. Then at 11:30 we were hit with back to back storms until 2:am. The rumbling and cracks from the lightning were earth trembling. They even scared me, and I love storms. These ones woke my child up, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. She came to me screaming she was scared, so in the bed with us she jumped. Needless to say she kept Jim and I awake for a couple hours, jumping everytime a sound was made by the lightning. She finally fell asleep again around 2:30am, so back in her bed she went. What a night!!!!!!!

Well, I just put 3 postcards in the mailbox, and a letter to Nancy, and one to my brother Paul. The postcards are going to Sugar in Mo, Carol in NY, and Krissy in Pa. I had already sent one to Sugar, but we thought it had gotten lost in the mail, so I made another one out to her, and last night I found out she finally had received the first postcard, but since this second one was already filled out and stamped, I'm sending it to her. So, Sugar you get 2 from me, lol. I have a few more postcards left. Anyone else wanting one drop me an email and send your address and I'd be happy to send one to you also. In return I will also send you my address.

I put my mood today as sad, only because I won't have contact with my computer again until sunday evening, that's if I survive the weekend. Emma and Dan are going away for their weekend honeymoon and I will be watching their kids at their home. And Rebecca is coming with me. My husband is going away to the cabin for a weekend getaway. Joe is going also. Those two are nuts going up there as hot as it is, and no air conditioning in the cabin.

Well, a few alerts seem to be coming through now. Maybe AOL has fixed the problem, finally. Let's hope so!!!!! I'm leaving my alerts on while I'm away for the weekend. I don't wanna miss any of your comments or entries. I will miss reading your journals, but I promise I will be on this computer when I return for my computer fix, lol. I know I'm gonna suffer withdrawls from it. I will have my pen and paper in hand writing everything that happens over the weekend, so I can tell you all about it in an entry.

Well, I guess I will go for now. I might be back later, if I get this house work done early enough. I want to get Rebecca down for a nap today too, cause she is so cranky about 7pm without a nap. So, after lunch today, she goes for that nap. Take care everyone, have a great weekend, and I'll miss you.

 Love to all!!!!!!!!!!  Stay cool!!!!!!!!!

  3. I'm glad you survived those storms, Cindy!

I'm not getting many alerts this morning, and I'm really annoyed that when I left a nice long entry in MY journal, AOL decided to eat it, and now it's gone!  I don't have time to start another one today, but it just annoys me that I wrote such a nice entry and now it's gone! :(

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

  5. I've only gotten two alerts so far today so I don't think AOL has the problem fixed yet.  The storms here last night were pretty awesome.  The lightning was beautiful.  Yes, I'm a storm lover.  Have a good weekend.
