4:30am?

My darling 5yr old daughter decided it was time to get up, yes at 4:30am,grrrrrrrrrrrrr. She climbs in bed with Jim and I, moving all over the place, putting her feet under my pillow, using my butt as a pillow, uncovering our feet from the covers. Doing everything she could think of to keep us awake. Finally I said to hell with it and got up with her. She carried her blanket and pillow into the livingroom, climbed up on the couch, got all nice and cozy. Talked for a bit, wanted the television on, I said no way, not this early in the morning. So, it's now 6:am and what is she doing? Sleeping!!!!!!!!!

So, here I am only 4 hours of sleep, and I am at the computer already, lol. I happened to glance in the mirror as I was leaving the powder room and man do I have some red eyes. I don't get enough sleep, that is my problem. I toss and turn for what seems like hours after I go to bed, then when I finally get to sleep this lovely child of mine wakes me up. It's gonna be a long day today for sure. And to top it off my grand daughter is coming over this afternoon for a few hours, so I will have 2    5yr old's in the house. I will probably go to bed early tonight.

Can you believe it is almost halloween? This month sure is flying by. I haven't decided on whether or not to take Rebecca out trick or treating yet. She has had 1500.00 worth of dental work done, due to her very low calcium deficiency. She brushes her teeth twice a day, but with low calcium her teeth were just rotting. So we had the 4 top front ones pulled, and 12 others filled and crowned. And she has to take a vitamin everyday with extra calcium in it.

Well, still no unemployment check. Which means Jim won't get it until the end of next week now. My daughter Emma came over yesterday and took me to the store. I had 11.00 to buy groceries with, she gave me 30.00 to put with my 11.00, and I spent it all. I got enough food to last for 4 days, plus apple juice, milk, eggs, bread, butter. Not real butter, it's store brand buttery spread, in a 1 pound tub and it was 84 cents on sale. My nephew never came over to get the window put into his girlfriends car, because the place he ordered the window from ordered the wrong one. He wanted a back window they ordered the front. So, Jim didn't make the 50.00. He found out his old job in New Jersey is looking for auto glass installers, but he can't go there cause we still have no car. Things totally suck right now.

Well, the sun is starting to rise. I can see a faint shade of blue emerging from the tree's outside. Yes, we have tree's here in Philadelphia, lol. And I hate them, they are awful looking. The city workers got them all butchered up to remove branches from hitting the wires coming from the telephone poles. Each tree has been fashioned into a Y looking shape.  They really look awful. So many of the side walks are pushed up due to the tree roots. Guess who is responsible for that repair, yep the home owner. So, if someone trips on the sidewalk and gets hurt, they can sue the home owner for not having the sidewalk in front of their home fixed. I hate this city more and more everyday. I, so want to move out of Philadelphia. Well, it is now 6:50am. Rebecca and Jim are asleep. I am wanting a cup of coffee right now, but it is too early to make a pot of coffee. I will wait another 20 minutes, then go make a pot. Thanks to Emma I can have a cup of coffee this morning. When we went to the store yesterday they had a sale 3 can's of Maxwell House or Yuban coffee for 3 for 3.99. So, Emma bought it and gave me 2 cans of it. Don't know what I would do without her. She is such a blessing to me.

Oh, to be all snuggled up in my warm bed right now, would be so awesome. But that isn't happening this morning, cause I know as soon as I fall asleep, I'll be awakened again. As for Rebecca, she is all snug up on the couch holding a very cute little purple soft and fuzzy purse next to her face that she got from her Jland godmother Angie, known as CanyonSun. Yes, Angie she sleeps with the purse too, lol. Angie and her husband Scott, just celebrated their 11th year wedding anniversary. I wish them both a lifetime of happiness together. They have 3 very handsome son's to share their lives with. So, Happy Anniversary to Angie and Scott.

Well, it is now 7:10am, and I think I will go make a pot of coffee now, then turn on the news and see what awful things happened in this city and around the world overnight. I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful sunday. And don't forget it's time to cast your vote's in the VIVI awards. So go vote for your favorite journal. You can reach the voting poll by going to my side bar and entering through Sugar's journal. That's what I'm going to do, lol. So happy voting everyone and good luck to all.

  5. I hope you have a restful day.
At my house the city is responsible for the sidewalk.  Man, if I had to maintain that too I'd take the thing out!  Grass to the curb!!

  7. much to early to get up. It's funny how the little ones wake us up but then fall asleep and were still up. How does that always happen. LOL. That was nice of Rebecca to pitch in money for food. I'm so sorry the check didn't come and he didn't make that  50.00. So sorry things are bad right now. Hugs to you.
