It's so quiet here in my livingroom right now. All I can hear is the pump running in the turtle tank and the television which I have turned down the volume, just so I can hear the news. Already it's depressing. A 15yr old girl was killed crossing the Roosevelt Blvd, by a hit and run driver. Don't these people know that when the light is red that it is telling you to stop? That's why driving gets on my nerves. I follow all the laws, but there's always some idiot who thinks he or she owns the road.

My daughter Emma came over tonight to visit with her little sister. They were playing with the playdough. Rebecca loves spending time with her big sister. They were making snakes out of the playdough, lol. After Emma left Rebecca got her bath, and got into her pajamma's then watched the halloween special's they had on cartoon network tonight. At 9:30 she said, I'm ready for bed now mommy. So, we brushed her teeth and off to dreamland she went. She was so tired, she didn't even ask for a story tonight. Jim had gone too bed about an hour before Rebecca did. He was so tired. But he says it's a good tired, because he is working again.

What a yucky day today was. It rained all morning, then it looked as though it was gonna clear up for a while, then about 1pm it started getting really dark and I heard a couple rumbles of thunder, then the wind started blowing, I could of sworn the tree limbs on the side of Joe's house would snap off, but they didn't. Then the clouds opened up and man did it pour. It lasted about 15 minutes, and finally stopped. The wind died down around 10pm, and I had to close the windows, it is freezing outside now. Man, that cold front came in quick. I put an extra blanket on Rebecca tonight. But I know she'll kick it off a dozen times while she is sleeping. I'll cover her up before I go to bed, then later Jim will get up and he'll cover her up. He get's up late at night so he can enjoy some of his quiet time on the computer also. And most likely he'll cover her up again before he comes backto bed.

I guess that's about it for tonight. Hope everyone had a great day tonight, has a peaceful night, and sleeps well. Goodnight.

  8. I love hearing that a big sister takes the time to spend time on her little sister. That is a gift beyond any she'll ever give.
