NO WORD YET

WELL, THERE'S NO WORD YET FROM ED'S GLASS. I SURE DO HOPE THEY CALL SOON. I'M GETTING WORRIED NOW ABOUT OUR BILLS THAT ARE COMING UP DUE. I HAVE EXACTLY 56.17 IN MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AND BILLS COMING UP ARE GONNA BE OVER 800.00. REMEMBER THE CAR DAN WAS GIVING US IN A PREVIOUS ENTRY I TOLD YOU ABOUT? WELL, HE SAID HE SENT AWAY FOR THE TITLE, BUT OVER 2 MONTH'S LATER WE'RE STILL WAITING FOR THIS SO CALLED TITLE. I HAVE BEEN MAKING CAR INSURANCE PAYMENTS NOW SINCE THE TOYOTA DIED ON US THINKING WE CAN JUST TRANSFER THE INSURANCE AND TAGS, BUT THE NEXT PAYMENT IS DUE IN  3 DAYS AND WITH HAVING NO TITLE YET, NO JOB AND NO MONEY, WE ARE GONNA HAVE TO CANCEL THE INSURANCE. NO WORD YET FROM UNEMPLOYMENT WHETHER IT'S APPROVED OR NOT. MAYBE WE'LL HEAR SOMETHING SOON. IF WORSE COMES TO WORSE I CAN ALWAYS SELL A COUPLE OF MY ANTIQUES, LIKE MY STILL IN WORKING CONDITION SINGER SEWING MACHINE IN IT'S ORIGINAL WOODEN CABINET, AND MY 1955 SET OF CHINESE DOLL FIGURINES. WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. JIM DIDN'T WORK WITH BRAD AGAIN TODAY. BRAD IS GOING AWAY ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON SO HE HAD BETTER PAY JIM FOR ALL THESE DAYS OF WORK HE HAS ALREADY HELPED HIM WITH.

WELL, I SPOKE TO EMMA THIS MORNING. SHE IS USING THE AVEENO OATMEAL BATH, AND CALAMINE LOTION. MARISSA WOKE UP THIS MORNING WITH EVEN MORE POX ALL OVER HER.  DAN HAS NEVER HAD CHICKEN POX AND NOW HE IS GETTING SOME ON HIM. LIL DANIEL HASN'T ANY YET, BUT I KNOW HE WILL SOON. I'M KEEPING REBECCA AWAY FROM THEM ALL UNTIL THERE'S NO CHANCE OF GETTING THEM. SHE GOES NUTS WITH A MOSQUITTO BITE, LET ALONE CHICKEN POX. OH WELL, I'D BETTER GO NOW. REBECCA WANTS THE COMPUTER. HAVE A GOOD DAY ALL.

  1. That's a shame about your bills and all, I do hope you don't have to end up selling your antiques... if you have them, they must be valuable to you.

I hope Marissa is back to normal soon. And yes, it's a good idea to keep Rebecca away from anyone who has them.

    Have a wonderful day!

  5. I pray that you monies and the car title come in where you won't have to start selling your things. I have always heard it doesn't do your body as much damage to have chicken pox when you are young. Helen

  17. Cindy,

Hope Jim hears something soon about his unemployment.

You need to go sign up for some food stamps right now. They will give you a card no problem because your husband lost his job suddenly, you don't work and you have a small child.

My best friend had to do the same thing. They gave her like 500$ a month, she's never been on assistance, but the way I looked at it that put food on the table for her family and like I told her you all have paid into it the whole time you both worked so don't feel bad about it. You're not living off of anybody you paid in and now you need it.

I know what you mean about the antiques and selling them if you have to. I would do the same thing.

If Emma doesn't wanna spend all that money on Aveeno Oatmeal bath treatments, just do what I said with the cheap can of oats and the panty hose. It's the same thing, but lots cheaper. Of course, when I had to deal with chicken pox I had three that got it at once.

Dan needs to watch out. Chicken pox are really hard on older people. They say it's better to have it when you're young.

I can't believe the kids haven't had shots for that. They started giving the shots after my kids were a certain age and considered to old to get it.

Take care everything will work out.
