7 more Days of waiting

Yep, gotta wait 7 more days. The results of the amnio showed the protein level to be too low, which may or may not affest the baby's lung developement. So the doctor said he does want to wait another week. I was soooooo ready to hold my new grandbaby tomorrow, sniff, sniff. But the doctor knows best, right? I have ultrasound pics from today. Wow my new granddaughter has hair, lol. I will scan them later and put in pregnancy journal.

So now that the baby is due on the 17th, and Marissa starts school on the 19th, Emma will have to hold off registering her until after she is home from the hospital. Beings Dan isn't a court appointed guardian he is not allowed to do the registration. Thats about it. I'll keep you updated.

Love to all...............Cindy

  3. I believe that you may be able to register her with a signed note from Emma considering the circumstances.
I am glad the doctors are caucious enough to wait instead of risking anything to go wrong....The baby gains most it's weight in the last few weeks too.
    love ya,

  6. Awwww, I know you are disappointed, but it's a good thing they did the test just to be sure.  Wouldn't want her to have trouble during the birth.  Better safe than sorry.  Can't Emma register Marissa before she goes into the hospital and then she can just start on the 19th?

    ((hugs))

  10. Awww.. well I'm like you. I know you wanna hold her now, but if she needs to bake for another 7 days than so be it. We just want her healthy. I'll go over and check the pic out. Good I'm glad she'll have hair. I love little girls with hair makes it easier to put bows and hairbands in. Keep us updated on any changes.
    Take care and Hugs, Chrissie
