Kid food

As tired as I am I woke up at 5am. But I am enjoying this quiet time, while everyone is asleep. I think I am hungry, because as I was sitting here reading all your comments on my previous entry I started thinking about some idea's for kids food. All made with bisquits. The kind that come 8 or 10 in a roll, you pop open and bake. So here's some idea's I came up with.

Mini pizza's. flatten each bisquit with hand, place pizza sauce and shredded cheese on top, add favorite topping and bake til edges of bisquit are golden brown.

Cheese dogs. Flatten bisquit with hand, place a half hotdog along edge, add half slice of favorite cheese, roll and bake til golden brown.

Baked Taco's. Flatten bisquits, place 1 tablespoon prepared groundbeef fried drained and seasoned with taco season into center of bisquit in a line. top with grated cheese, tablespoon salsa, roll and bake til golden brown.

Fruit pockets. flatten each bisquit with hand, place 1 tablespoon favorite fruit (canned apples or peaches pie filling) in center. Fold in half, press edges with fork to seal. Sprinkle top with a pinch of sugar and bake til golden brown.

Breakfast pockets. scrambled eggs, bacon fried and crumbled and cheese. Flatten bisquits, place tablespoon eggs in center, top with bacon and cheese, fold in half, seal edges with fork and bake til golden brown.

Beings Rebecca is such a picky eatter, she just might eat these. Now I've totally made myself feel like I am starving. Is it time for the pancakes and sausage I am making for breakfast? LOL
