School Registration

Tomorrow I am picking Emma up and taking her to DMV, so she can get an ID card. The school will not let her register Marissa unless her ID has her current address on it. So she will need to get a new one. Wednesday Emma has a doctor appt, then thursday she will register Marissa, and let them know that her stepfather (Dan) will be bringing Marissa to school for the first few days beings she would be in hospital. So that will be taken care of.

Thursday I will be going school shopping for Rebecca's uniforms. I am going to just get about 3 sets for now, and every 2 weeks order more on line from walmart.

Rebecca's teacher called me today. Rebecca and I have an appt next tuesday at 9:30am to meet her teacher. Rebecca is going to be tested on her letters and writing her name. She only knows what capital letters are and she can write her name, but it's sloppy. We practiced for an hour tonight writing and recognizing letters. I am going to practice an hour each day with her until school starts.

In 3 more days it will be Rebecca's 6th birthday. My lil girl is growing up fast. I have put off her party until the weekend after Emma comes home from the hospital. I think instead of the usual italian birthday dinner, I'm gonna do mexican dinner. Soft and hard taco's, fix your own, lol. I'm not standing there making all those taco's, lol. There will be plenty of toppings for the taco's, seasoned meat, shredded cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, green onions, green chile's, sliced olives, sour cream, salsa, refried beans, hot sauce. I'll fix those bisquits with hotdogs and cheese wrapped in them also, just in case someone don't like taco's.

Well, that's it for tonight. I have to get up early, make coffee, pack Jims lunch and get Rebecca and I ready, drop Jim off to work and go to Emmas. I'm worn out, I was up early, before daylight today, babysat until 2:30 today, and cleaned Emma's kitchen again.

Love to all.......................CINDY

  4. Ohhh Taco party sounds AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!  Is Rebecca tall?? When I was looking at the 10/12 pants, they just seemed to LONG to me for her age. Hmmmmm.. that's what I do to get the school started, buy a little here and a little there.  And plus the used uniform sales help, so maybe they will have one of those. You can't really get the shirt there but the shorts/pants are great used. I wish I had some to pass down. I have some size 7s that are to small for Eric's waist. I wander if those would work, what size is her waist??? Then I wil measure Erics waist and see :)

  5. Honey I know you're tired. I was getting up at 5am to go over and sit with Kyan while KT was working and staying there forever. I felt homesick I hadn't been away from my house for 15hrs in a long time. Can't believe your little girl is gonna be six. She's growing up very fast just in the time I've met you. Kyan would love to come to a taco party that's his fav of all time and the only time he'll eat any beef. Hope Emma is feeling okay. I know she was ready to go and it's so disappointing when the doctor tells you not today. I remember those days so well. Then the day we walked in there and she said leave here and go check in the hospital we're having a baby today I about dropped my jaw because I believed the baby was never coming and it was the day we didn't bring the suitcase. Figures. Have a great day.
    Take care and Hugs, Chrissie

  16. You always have something good to eat.  Makes me want to visit so bad.  I  hope everything gets done in time.  It might be personal but why doesn't Emma drive?  I didn't drive until I was in my 30s.  I was just curious.  I want to see Rebecca in her back to school uniform.  Marissa too.  I'm excited for you to get that new grandbaby soon.
