It's gonna be a bad day

Already today I can tell it's gonna be a bad day. So far this morning Rebecca has gotten into the Poptarts and made a mess on my carpet. Then 3 times I told her to get away from the turtle tank, cause if she moves the screen the light will fall in the water. Well, I went into the bathroom, and all of a sudden she starts screaming, like she was being tortured. I run back into the livingroom and there's the light........under water. I started unplugging everything, light was still on. Finally I had to move the tv to get to the right plug. The whole time this kid is screaming hurry hurry, don't let my turtles cook!!!! The way my husband has all this crap set up is a total mess. There's only 2 outlets in the entire room. We have to use those electric strips where you can plug more than one in it. I have three of those strips in here. Let's see, there's 5 plugs to the computer, 1 for the phone, 2 for the lamps, 1 for the fan, 1 for the tv, 1 for dvd player, 1 for satellite box, 3 for the stereo, then there's 2 filter pumps for turtle tank, 1 for the bubbling filter for turtle tank and 1 for the light for the turtle tank, oh yea and 1 for the airconditioner. When I vacuum in here, I have to use an extension cord and run it from another room just to vacuum. I will be so glad when we can move out of this apartment and into a house. Hopefully if all goes well, we will be out of here by early spring next year. We need more room. Rebecca has so many toys, I've had to store most of them away in the closets. She gets upset when I do that, but if I don't we're tripping all over them. We've come up with an idea. Emma wants to go back to work come spring and go to school for Home Health Care. So, we've all decided to get a 4 bedroom house with a full basement, and move in together. That way I'm there to take care of Rebecca, Marissa and Daniel during the day when everyone is at work.

Well, Emma called this morning. She and Daniel have colds. Daniel is so cranky, running around whining with a runny nose. Emma has to chase him down to wipe his nose, lol. Well, I guess I'd better try to figure out why these pumps are'nt working now. I swear I'm so tired of these turtles and this tank. It is really getting on my last nerve. Guess I'll go, take care everyone. Hope your day is better then mine. I need some tylenol already, my head is pounding. Also wanna thank D's Designs for my name tag.

  5. Poor gal, you need to have a STARBUCKS moment! then a nice relaxing hot bath. I killed Ryan's tadpole {that was on it's way to becoming a frog } about 4 years ago. I put water right out of the tap in the tank...bad move ... Ryan still reminds me of it to this day.
I hope the turtles are ok.  and I hope you have bettter day!

  10. I hope the turtle was ok and  your day got better. I hope all the colds go away soon. Well maybe that's not a bad idea living together, I don't know if that would be to stressful though. I am sure it will all work out.

  11. Almost had dinner ready there eh?  Fried Turtle LOL!  Kids, now WHY do they do these things after being told DON'T and NO?  Grrrrrrr!  I'm lucky that my kid normally abides by the rules.  It's the friends I have trouble with.

  12. OOoohh My that is alot of plugs. That would drive me crazy too. You're a brave one to want to move in with your daughter and SIL. I could have never done that. Eventually, we would have gotten on each others nerves..LOL. WooHoo you're getting fancy with the name tags now Donna is great.
    Take care, Chrissie
