Second Try

Anyone got a hammer? I'm gonna give this computer a wack or two. I had a nice long detailed entry and off went the computer. Man I hate that.

Well, Rebecca left on her vacation with her cousin Carmen. That is my cousin Carmen above holding Rebecca. It was taken today before they left. I feel lost tonight. I did'nt have a child to bathe, dress in PJ's and get her teeth brushed and put to bed. And I gotta do a week of none of this? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss my baby already. I get a lump in my throat as soon as I think about her. I've never been apart from her for more than 24 hours. I'll keep myself busy with painting, and cleaning and my journal.

I know she'll be ok away from me. Carmen is a very good Mom, and she'll take really good care of my child. Her son Christopher will help also. He's always been real good with Rebecca. And there's Scooby, Carmens doggie. He is real good with kids. Well, I'm gonna make this short because I don't want computer shutting off on me again. Have a great night all.

And thanks SO much for the comments about my music. I really appreciate everyone's support. If you'd like, check back in from time to time, as I will be posting more eventually. I'm working on a requested song as well. Thanks again, and have a great day!

  7. I know that I just commented this afternoon, but I thought I'd answer your questions...

I've been playing for quite a few years now... I think I got my first little keyboard when I was... eleven? And up til about age 13, I just kinda fiddled around with it... It wasn't until within the last year or so that I really got into it, because (to answer your second question) it served as an outlet for me. Still does, too. Being a piano player is amazing in that if you feel sad, you can play a sad song, or if you're angry, you can hit those deep, haunting chords. It clears my head of everything in this world. I can truly say that it's my one true passion in life. And as for "Ben", I'm afraid I haven't heard of it. However, if you have the song downloaded somewhere or even as a MIDI, I'd be happy to learn to play it for you. Thank you once again for being so kind and for your interest in my music. It's people like you that make me want to get even better at the piano! Have a great day!

  9. Try and do some things that you can't normally do with her around.  Take a morning walk....go shopping.  Whatever.
She'll be back in no time at all. It's going to go fast. You watch!
    Enjoy your time.

  11. Cindy,

Just enjoy doing what you need to get done. The painting and stuff without having to worry about little hands being into stuff.

LOL... I'm laughing at the entry below about waiting til she is a teenager and you can't wait til she goes away for a night or two. I feel that way sometimes.

Although, Kyan went away yesterday for just like four hours and I was lost. I ran errands and went to Walmart with no baby... boohoo... it was so sad. I don't know what I would do if my daughter ever lived far away from me and I'd never get to see the baby. So I know what you're feeling now.

    Take care, Chrissie
