Necklace is leaving today

Today is a sad day for me. It's the day I mail the traveling necklace away, sniff, sniff. But it's going to another friend who I know will love it just as Angie and I did. Around 10:30 this morning, I will carry the necklace in it's box and the little notebook to the post office and mail it to LisaJo. This beautiful necklace will then be worn around LisaJo's neck, bringing a smile to her beautiful face. And she will possess it for a week, and get to wear it and feel the strenghth and warmth it gives her, bringing her to feel so close to everyone here in Jland as it did me. It was like I was getting hugged by all of you while I was wearing the traveling necklace.

I pray it gets to everyone safely with no trouble.

 Awwwwww, so cute.

Well, Rebecca slept with that giant Alligator last night. She takes anymore animals into her bed and she'll have no room for herself to sleep. These are just some of the stuffed animals in her bed, 8 turtles, panda bear, 3 lion cubs, 2 bratz kitty's, tiger, 2 teddy bear's, hippo, elephant, 3 penquins, tweety bird, scoobydoo, spongebob, raggedyann doll, lizzard, duck, and I know I'm forgetting some, lol. All this is in a SpongeBob Toddler bed.

Not much room to move around with all those animals, lol. But if one of those stuffed animals is missing, she'll know it and put up a fuss until it's in her bed. She will not sleep unless they are all in her bed with her. This morning I awakened and found her in my bed, and guess what was staring me in the face? That dag on alligator!!!!!!!!! LOL. Freaked me out for a second, lol. I got up and left her all snuggled in my bed and got a cup of coffee and sat at my computer.

My quiet time did'nt last long, grrrrrrrrrrr. Because 15 minutes later Rebecca came walking into the livingroom carrying that alligator. Right away she says, "Mommy, snappy was lonely last night so he wanted to sleep in your bed with you and daddy and he wanted me to come with him." LOL. This kid is amazing in story telling. Then she sits down and starts coloring with this pen you fill up with water and doodle pad mats that change color when you rub the pen over them. No mess on hands, try to write on wall and it leaves no marks. HELLOOOOOOO, I'm getting some more of those for sure. 3 little kids and pens they can't write on a wall with works for me, lol. They only work on the doodle pad mats. You get 3 mats and a doodle water pen for 8.99 at ToysRUs. Great investment!!!!!!!! Save lots of $$$$$$ not having to buy paint for walls.

Well, guess I'll go for now. I have to get dressed and fix Rebecca some breakfast then get her dressed and off for our walk to postoffice we go. Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Thank you Missie for my beautiful Fall name tag. You do such awesome work.

  1. Oh Cindy, I'm sorry you're sad about giving up the traveling necklace, but I'm glad you were able to wear it and enjoy it. I love the pictures today. I'm crazy about cats. Kids are so amazing, and so precious. If Rebecca wants to sleep with Snappy, then so be it, LOL. You never know, she might grow up to be a Veterinary. Did she share her breakfast with Snappy, LOL?

  10. Hey Cindy,

I know you hate to see the necklace leave. Glad you had fun with it and I know Lisa Jo will to.

I love doodle pads Kyan has several. Wonderful aren't they? I'm also a big fan of ColorWonder the most brilliant thing they've ever come out with for kids. It comes in crayons, markers and paints that only work on special ColorWonder paper. No stuff on the furniture, carpet, walls or clothes. Kyan loves those because he doesn't know the difference between them and what the bigger kids use.

Kids are silly. I'm sure she's snug as a bug in her bed with all those animals. My kids never could have all that because of allergies. So I never had to go through all that.

Well hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Eat some cake for me okay. Can't wait to see the pictures.

    Take care, Chrissie
