YOU GOT WHAT????????????????

Well Rocky is in a new home now. We really didn't want to give him up, but we had no choice. Rebecca was terrified that he was gonna climb out of the tank. She would'nt even sit in the livingroom anymore. So we thought by giving him away she would be ok. But nope, now she is afraid Joey is gonna do the same thing. Either Jim or I, which is mostly I will have to sit in the kitchen with her. She will not come into this livingroom. So, it's sad to say Joey is gonna have to go too. It is just too much stress on us having him also. So, I am now looking for a home for Joey. I will be keeping the aquarium because I like hearing the sound of the filters and pumps, it is so relaxing. I will clean it all out. get a water heater for it and I think I'll get some tropical fish for it. Hopefully she won't be afraid of those. I do not know what happened. One day she loves her turtles and the next she is terrified of them. I could see her being terrified if the turtles looked like the photo below, but jeez, give me a break, lol.

Now ya should know be by now, I always throw in a surprise once in a while, heeheehee. Let me tell ya, if I seen a turtle like this, I would be terrified, lol.

Anyways, onto a more serious matter. My sister calls me the other day. She wants to know the symptoms of menopause. Hmmmmm, lets see, mood swings (major at times) hot flashes (air needs to be on) cold sweats (can be 90* in room) skipped periods ( yes!!!!!!!!!!) So, beings the out spoken afraid to say nothing big sister that I am, I politely told her.........Damn girl, yer gettin old, lol. Well, she is really. She's 23 month's younger than me, and she has 5 grandchildren and 2 more on the way. There is Kaylei, Christopher, Anthony, Summer, Ricky.

Anyways, back to the menopause. She asked what she should do cause she has symptoms, told her she can go see a doctor or just do what I do. I went to GNC bought a big bottle of Estrogen and a big bottle of Stresstabs and take them faithfully. They seem to be helping me.

Mood swings are the worst though. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can really piss someone off big time, and have no worries that I did, lol. But that only happens on rare occassions. I do know that sex anymore is not a big issue with me. I could care less about it. With all I been through with the cancer and the scaring there is no way I can feel sexy. All I have to do is look in the mirror at this huge scar and say gross, and bye bye any ideas I might of had. But it's ok, I don't worry myself over it. Besides hubby suffers from E.D, so there's another matter that takes care of any ideas. The blood pressure medication he is on does that to you.

Well, I think that's enough for now. My eyes are burning and hands are cramping, darn arthritis too, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So take care and have a great evening all.

Thank you Roxy for my beautiful name tag.

  6. Very cute turtle!  But it's good you gave him up, it appears he was getting to big for the tank he was in, because of his shell. He's still good, but he needed more space I think. I wish I could have taken them. I love my turtle, they are so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!  When you got him was he really little? Maybe she got scared when he grew and it's okay when they are contained but getting out probably got to be a scare for a child that age! lol.  Also, this turtle *appears* to be a girl.  Boy turtles have VERY LONG NAILS, girls have shorter nails and webs.

  12. Awww that's too bad that you have to give up the turtle.  I understand though cause we did that too.  But I have some fish and they are just so easy to take care of.  Just add a gallon of water about once a month and feed them everyday.  Easy breezy.  I love turtles though.  Big hugs and GBU, Shelly

  13. Aww.. the turtles are moving. Oh well I'd do the same so Rebecca won't be so scared. Kids are funny when they go through things. Loved your menopause graphics..LOL. Here's a funny for ya might be TMI for some, but I thought I was going through that mess while I was with my husband and trying to have my fourth baby, my periods stopped, and now that we're separated I'm regular as can be again. God has a sense of humor I think.
    Take care, Chrissie
