Feeling Better

Yesterday was my bad day. I went to the dentist, he removed the stitches from the gum where he pulled the other 4 teeth. And yesterday he pulled some more. He decided he was gonna pull an extra 2 more, but when he tried, I screamed. So he numbed them again and again and again. He gave me enough novacaine for 10 people he said. Well, it would not numb, so he prescribed me another 30 Penicillin pills. He's thinking maybe there's an infection and it's causing it not to numb. I go back June 1st and he's gonna try to numb them again, and if it does'nt take he will have to admit me in the hospital to remove the teeth. Like I said before, always something major when it comes to me. There's only 6 more to pull. By the time my hubby Jim got home last night from work, I was in so much pain I was crying. He quickly ran out the door with my 2 prescriptions and was back in 20 minutes. He had them filled for me. About a half hour later I was able to function. I had to use an ice pack for a while last night, cause my face swelled from the eye teeth being removed. I will be so glad when this is all over and I don't have to deal with it anymore. I would'nt wish all these problems I have on anyone. It's not at all fun to go through. My daughter Emma came over today and got my credit card from me. She did some grocery shopping for me. Got me lots of instant potatoe's, jello, pudding, canned gravy, and my favorite Spaghetti O's, lol. Yes, I love them!!! I'm a kid at heart, what can I say. I can't chew solids now, no salad for a while, or pizza, sniff, sniff. Oh well, it'll all be worth it in the long run. Anyways, I just want to thank all of you so very much for your kind comments to me about this dentist thingy. You are all such wonderful people, and like my sister Susie, I consider you all friends. Thank you for making me feel so welcome in JLand.

  1. Ouch sis, I'm in pain FOR you!! I'll be so glad when you're all done with this and can be pain-free. Let me ask you a question sis, does normal doses of medicine not work for you? Because that's how I am, anytime I have to take a medicine, I have to have like double the dose that a normal person would get, otherwise the medicine doesn't work at all. When E was being born, I had to have TWO epidaurels because the first one didn't work! I was just wondering if the medicine thing ran in the family. LOL

  4. I can't even imagine the pain you are feeling!  The mouth is such a sensitive area....take your pain pills and just do what you have to do to get through this.  You'll be ok after it's all done.  I'm so sorry for you.
    Get some rest.
Thank you for the nice comments you've left in my journal.  You are a sweetie.
