Feeling Loved

I'm feeling especially happy tonight. My daughter came over to bring my granddaughter Marissa over for the weekend, and she handed me my Mother's Day card's and a tiny white box. I was'nt expecting such an elaborate gift. I opened the white box and I found the most beautiful ring. It's 14kt white gold. I almost cried. Then I read the card from my grandchildren which was so nice. I then opened the beautiful Hallmark card from my daughter, after reading it I must admit I did cry. I just had to share how she signed this card with all of you. it goes: To my MOM, thank you for making me the strong, powerful, loving, caring woman I am today. Love you Always, Emma

She really knows how to touch my heart, this kid of mine. I feel so blessed having the 2 girls I adore so much in my life, with an extra blessing of the 2 grandkids I have because of my Emma. I guess I should say I'm blessed with the husband I have also, because without him I would'nt have my happy little family. Over the years I've learned something that I hope my girls will also learn. You can have all the riches in the world and never be truely happy, but when your child hugs you and says I love you Mom, that in my opinion is worth more than anything in this world. And with my girls, I'm a very rich woman, rich in love, rich in respect, rich in family. I thank the Lord each and everyday for letting me be a part of this family of mine, for I am truely blessed. And to all the mother's and soon to be mom's, I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!!!!!!
